Everything was just amazing during our staying here. The air conditioner saved us as it was too hot. The owner was very friendly and she provided everything what we asked for additionally. Thank you very much!

The owner, Cesidio, is a truly lovely man who is attentive to his guests. The property is really clean and well equipped with all you need to cook. Wifi is great. Right in the centre of Pratola, with a great bar and pizzeria within walking distance. Pratola is a great location, easily accessible to Rome-Pescara motorway, and near some incredible hill towns. There are also plenty of supermarkets in the area. My favourite trip was to the (free) museum of confetti in Sulmona, so interesting and quaint!
Hotel Ovidius is a modern building set just 300 metres from Sulmona's main square. You will have free on-site parking here, a 24-hour bar, a traditional restaurant, and a spa.

Excellent room. Excellent breakfast. Great location.

Surrounded by mountains, the town offers a beautiful vista on every street. The main corridor has a little bit of shopping, a few cafes, and can be walked in a few minutes. The old town has windy corridors for wandering; interesting to me due to the obvious demise as evidenced by many abandoned homes.
It would be best to come with a car in order to explore the surrounding areas.
