Location of the property is great, Grocery store, pharmacy and drug store are around the corner. Restaurants, coffee shops and even children playground are in a walkable distance near the property. Ski-Bus that drives to the Sulden is just in front of the Hotel. Simply perfect. There are plenty of activities one can do with or without kids during the winter as well as in summer. Property owner was always there for any question we had and was always open for suggestions around restaurants, activities etc. Would definitely highly recommend this Village and especially property Pension & Residence Astoria.

I cannot even say how it was cause I never stayed there. There was a double booking and our room was given to the couple who arrived before us. True, they booked another hotel for us 5 mins drive away. But at first they expected us to pay the other hotel and ask for a refund from booking.com for the payment done to Gasthof Stern. But I argued that they should pay the other hotel since they've taken the money already and not me.
Anyways, they later accepted that and we went to Prad Hotel where there was a super lady who helped us a lot.
Location was nice and quiet. Room very comfortable and owners were super helpful, especially given our terrible German language skills. Great breakfast. We used the barn/garage to store our bikes, which was handy and seemed plenty safe for our expensive rental bikes.
The owner and his family are really friendly and willing to give advice to make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel is located in the center of the small town of Prato allo Stelvio. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast delicious.
Breakfast was enough. This is a small village but near the hotel is Spar grocery and coffee shop. Cycling up to Stelvio perfect and hiking or just walking around another place. Switzerland only 16 km if you want.
Prato de Stelvio is so cold in the winter, and the room is so good with heaters in the room and bathroom too. The shower is very good too . There are a pizzeria int he hotel and the pizza is so delicious.
