Nice beaches, plenty of fast food vendors, or dine-in restaurants if you prefer. Beaches were very clean, and locals very helpful. Prices were very reasonable too, with local shops providing local produce. For a real treat, try Cosimino Restaurant on Via Cosimo Albano; you can book a table overlooking the sea - its great food, and a fabulous atmosphere.
It was not a noisy resort, in fact, we thought it was quiet, however, on weekends there was live music after dark.
If you are planning a stay, Porto Cesareo is the perfect place to unwind and capture some Italian sunshine.

Very nice, I think the best beaches in Puglia are here. We were staying here just one day, but will for sure come back. Also walking promenade in the city is nice. A lot of options for eating, also places for kids.

We didn't really visit the town as we were on our way to Taranto. The owner told us that it is a summer holiday resort and that the season had not started yet, so nothing really to see or do. We are only end of March.

The city after season is empty and quiet. Walking beach promenada to the center of the small town is nice. Restaurants offer is very good. Who likes pizza can get one in self service restaurant - but don't worry - the taste was extra!

To get to the nearest beach from the hotel takes 20-35 min. Parking is expensive and we got a ticket for 30 euros just to unload the car. Hard to find the hotels as most of the people are tourists and signs are not visible. The hotel is centrally located with beautiful view, but you can’t swim as the view is a port and you have to drive to the nearest beach. Plenty of places to eat with variety of different menus. We enjoyed our stay but next time will stay at Gallipulli.
We were received personally by Francesca who was kind to accommodate a late check in for us. Her hotel is in top condition, great location close to explore Porto Cesáreo on foot. Parking in the city can be tricky, so we used the option of in house parking. The hotel has an underground private garage that is great for leaving the car safe and away from the heat. The staff is incredibly kind, we were offered great advice on what to visit and how to get there. The included breakfast is out of this world! All pastries and cakes are home made!
We had an amazing time at Villa Maria Teresa in Porto Cesareo. Rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. Marisa is a wonderful host and checked in every day to see how we were doing. There is a wonderful garden and the villa is very conveniently located close to the town Centre (but not too close, so it is very quiet) and close to many beautiful beaches. We could use bikes free of charges to cycle to the beach. Breakfast was lovely and the delicious pastries we received every day were such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!
Our stay at casa Caleta was outstanding! The building and room was super clean and very new. The location is quiet and a little bit out of town, but by car it is only 8 minutes away from the nearest town. everyone was super nice and friendly and the breakfast was incredible. We definitely recommend this place and also would come back if we are visiting the south of Italy again.
This is a lovely family run B&B located a few minutes walk from the beach. Michael and his parents were so accommodating from start to finish. They collected us from the bus in Porto Cesareo with our heavy cases. The breakfast each morning was so amazing with fresh fruit and tasty pastries. Their hospitality was incredible and we couldn’t recommend here anymore!

Fantastic breakfast, spacious room, wonderful view of the harbour from the rooftop. We visited Porto Cesareo in September (to escape the crazy beach season). The downtown is small, with great food, gelato and aperitifs a stone’s throw in all directions. Friendly welcome, safe parking for our bicycles.
The location is perfect, next to the beach and to the main street with restaurants. There are supermarkets around. Not far from the bus stop (around 10min walk).
There is a place in the yard where you can hang your things to dry, or just sit and have your cup of coffee.

Perfect location easy walk to beaches restaurants, bars etc. The room was spotless it looked brand new. Bed and pillows were incredible. Hosts were amazing so friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and coffee each morning. If you are going to Porto Cesareo definitely stay here.
