A very tastefully furnished unit with all the accommodations including a washer. Spectacular view of lake Lugano and the Alps from a very large balcony and the master bedroom. The town is very cute with walkways along the lake and many little shops and restaurants. We went during the winter and went skiing in the Alps. There are plenty of places along the lake to go for a dip during the summer ! The train station is very close, you can go to Lugano, Lake Maggiore and Milan, all within an hour drive.

The rooms were spacious and clean. In front of the B&B there was a good restaurant ("Okay Pub", we had an excelellent dinner for a very reasonable price), and next to it there's a good café for the morning start. All in all, it was kind of a 5 bedroom mini-apartment, and it was quite right for us (a couple with 3 little kids).

Beautiful location on lake and mountains with walkway around lake close by. Easy access to good Asian restaurants and cafes (Jonny's) train and Swiss border. Would book earlier to get better accommodation.

Beautiful border town with Switzerland. Plenty of restaurants, our favorite is Ristorante Dal Pescatore, directly on the lake front. Fantastic service and food. There are plenty of gelaterias and bars, try Johnny's.
Plenty of nice walks and activities around the lake.
We travel with our bikes and is ideal to get around.

Beautiful hotel with real beautiful view of the Lugano lake. We booked the room with a lake view and were not dissappointed, The room was big and comfortable and the balcony was bigger than expected.
But the real treat were the employees - seems like they realy enjoy what they are doing. The lady at the reception, I think her name was Rossalva, was kind and helpful with recomendations. The restaurant's stuff - Roberta, Abdel Jaber and Chef Moustafa (sorry if I mispelled) went out of their way for my sister and I to be happy.
Family run hotel in the hills overlooking Lago di Lugano. Our quadruple room had a beautiful, large terrace overlooking the lake. The (very good) restaurant, bar and swimming pool have equally stunning views. Many activities nearby (if you have a car, reception kindly gives you a list of things to do: boat rides, beaches, markets etc.), friendly staff, 1h drive from the Gotthard tunnel. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay again!
Probably the closest Italian town to Lugano. Very nice and clean. Well equipped, there is also dryer machine. The host left for us a bottle of sparkling wine, pasta + sauce, two bottles of soft drinks and a bottle of sparkling water. Private parking under the house, but it is not big , we had Jeep Renegade that fitted but bigger car may not fit there. There is a supermarket nearby.
We loved Hotel La Stampa!The location couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The room was very clean and simple. We had a balcony with gorgeous views overlooking Switzerland and Italy. The daily breakfast very good. Ristorante La Stampa was delicious- we loved every meal. The entire staff went above and beyond for us.

Great value for money! The staff were very helpful and even upgraded for free our room to include a view of the lake. The hotel is in fact a hotel restaurant and you must try it cause it is very good. The breakfast was also good enough for a small extra fee. I totally recommend it for one or more nights stay.
The staff was super friendly and pleasant. We came in the middle of night for checkin and were greeted with smile. Also, all the service during our dinner at Ristorante Stampa was probably the best I've ever had - someone would come every few minutes. Also, the view from hotel is stunning.
The hotel was clean, had plenty of space and had an amazing view. The breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner and had some of the best pizza I've ever had. Would love to stay here again. The staff, from the friendly front desk attendant to the servers were all excellent as well.
Nice flat, fully equipped in the heart of Ponte Tresa. The garage comes in very handy but is a bit small if you have a large car. Claudia is a very responsive host, we had some troubles with the heating but she helped us managing it. Would definitely recommend the house.

Beautiful apartment with balcony in the heart of Ponte Tresa. Very nice hosts. Breakfast items and plenty of bottled water were provided. Air condition worked great. Good value for money.
Everything was great, staff where very kind and helpful, breakfast and room where good 👍. Parking near hotel and safe. Even the restaurant food was good especially the pizza.
