It is a lovely accommodation in the middle of the nature, close to Florence. Comfortable, with a very good breakfast. Highly recommend Lili if you visit Tuscany. It's the cleanest holiday apartment I have experienced until now. You will find warmly and helpful tips everywhere in the house. And the holder is so nice, warm heart & thoughtful! Helped us to find a free parking place nearby (cus the parking area incl. on–street parking in front of the house is occasionally blocked for renovation). She sent lots of fotos which were taken by herself and marked concretely where is the parking places. As well as helped us to fix the problem of lacking heated shower water even though it was caused by our mistake.

Pontassieve is an ideal place to stay to escape the hustle and bustle of Florence.
With a short train ride to Florence, you get the benefit of having access to Florence without the constant presence of a zillion tourists.
It is also a good stepping stone into Bologna and Siena.
We had a beautiful stay at Agriturismo Podere Pallazuolo which is situated in the mountains very close to Firenze. The extraordinary property is dated from 1616, aesthetically renovated with an eye for the details, welcoming and comfortable cool in the summer. It has a huge garden flowered with oleander and other mediterranean plants, agaves, figs and pomegranates. The pool is beautifully placed within the garden. We love this place and will definitely return :)
amazing old place in a beautiful location. no city noise, lots of birds sing every morning. the best part of the bigger apartment is the fire place you can use and spend evenings sitting next to it and reading.

Really enjoyed our short two nights stay! Communication with Silvia prior and during our stay via WhatsApp was excellent. Late checkin was arranged with no problem. The room offered all we needed and is tastefully decorated. It’s conveniently located to the local railway station with frequent connections to Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station (and Arezzo).
We loved the location of this Agriturismo. It’s very calm and nice location, surrounded by the olives trees and vine trees. Rooms are beautiful and clean. We loved activities you can take there without traveling. You make walk to the wine tasting, do a cooking class. Everyone is nice there and breakfast are delisious.
Since it was almost 40 degrees outside, the pool was excellent. Super location on the hill between winyards and olive trees, but not too far from Firenze.
