I can only recommend to spend time at Le Fonti. On my bikepacking tour from Munich to Rome I stayed for one night and enjoyed a great dinner with ingedients from the Garden - delicious! The area and the garden is really beautiful.
I will hopefully come back and spend more time there.

It is a lovely accommodation in the middle of the nature, close to Florence. Comfortable, with a very good breakfast. But what is most special about the place is the great hospitality of Gherardo and Renza. Such a warm-hearted welcome! They are very attentive and friendly and at the same time respecting your privacy.

Highly recommend Lili if you visit Tuscany. It's the cleanest holiday apartment I have experienced until now. You will find warmly and helpful tips everywhere in the house. And the holder is so nice, warm heart & thoughtful! Helped us to find a free parking place nearby (cus the parking area incl. on–street parking in front of the house is occasionally blocked for renovation). She sent lots of fotos which were taken by herself and marked concretely where is the parking places. As well as helped us to fix the problem of lacking heated shower water even though it was caused by our mistake.

Pontassieve is an ideal place to stay to escape the hustle and bustle of Florence.
With a short train ride to Florence, you get the benefit of having access to Florence without the constant presence of a zillion tourists.
It is also a good stepping stone into Bologna and Siena.
amazing old place in a beautiful location. no city noise, lots of birds sing every morning. the best part of the bigger apartment is the fire place you can use and spend evenings sitting next to it and reading.
the kitchen and the apartment itself has pretty much everything you need.

the host is exceptionally nice and friendly, like most people in Italy :)

It is clear that he thought about every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The view is beautiful, rooms are clean, the bed and the shower are great.

The house was a big cottage - what a nice change comparing it to a city's flat appartment or hotel room. My kids loved it and so did we.

Fantastic host, comfy bed, historic building just 40 mins from Firenze. Lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and enjoy. The tortoise in the garden and the wood fired grill were added bonuses.

Since it was almost 40 degrees outside, the pool was excellent. Super location on the hill between winyards and olive trees, but not too far from Firenze.
