I personally find this hotel very charming. In Italian "Liberty" style (what is called Art Nouveau/Jugendstil/Modernismo in the rest of Europe) the hotel has indeed kept its architectural features and although some people might think it would need some renovation I think it's perfect the way it is. So nice to spot old heaters with incorporated bread oven or the small food elevator in the breakfast room :).
Both the lady and the guy who run the hotel are extremely kind and welcoming.
Room was spot-clean and although weather had started to be quite warm outside I could enjoy a cool room.
I booked a single room with a single bed and the bidet was incorporated in the wc, which was very practical.
I usually have sweet breakfast and was able to find everything I like, especially whole grain baguette. Very fresh, bought every morning from a bakery for sure :).
Location is perfect. You can reach everything on foot from there.

We booked because of the reviews commenting the kind stuff. And we were right to stay here - Very kind stuff and helpful. Hotel very centrally located so everything is in 1min walking distance. We were amazed by the hospitality and kindness by the people working in the hotel and they speak English well 👍🏻Breakfast was basic so not many to choose from. But because of the people working there - we would definitely come again 👍🏻😊
