We came by bicycle from Siena, it was a spectacular ending arriving to Il Cerreto late afternoon. we loved that the farm was surrounded by rolling hills and had a rustic but comfortable feel. The room was cozy and we liked that the feel of the old building was kept in tact.
The restaurant was a nice experience both for dinner and breakfast. Refreshing to eat farm-fresh ingredients and enjoy a vegetarian approach to Tuscan cuisine.
The staff were all super friendly and would love to return.

We had a fabulous night at this charming hotel run by lorella - the room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We arrived before our check in time but they made our room ready and gave us a welcome coffee on arrival. We had a delicious dinner that evening. The breakfast was an Italian breakfast. But there was an option to have more with an extra payment, We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute there. The owner Patriza was very accommodating and saw to all our needs. We opted to go for her dinners all 3 nights and was blown away with the quality of the food and wines. And the best part was that the dinners had a pre fixed price with 4 courses which was well worth it. The best part of it was that there was no menu, they just bring out the food like you were having dinner at home. Would stay there over and over again. Thanks so much for the great hospitality.

Pomarance is a small and quiet town, also with history and charm but with no tourism. With people who live there sitting and talking on the street and greeting you when you walk there. Middle week you hear the band rehearsing nearby, delicious. There are a couple of good and cheap pizzerias (L'ultimo Spicchio and Blasi). And a big supermarket, coop, next door.
Everyone thinks of Siena Volterra, etc as must-see locations and SR222 as a route to go and admire in Tuscany. This place and surroundings have values on their own right comparable to the aforesaid places. It certainly deserves attention, with charming agroturismo places, nestled hidden gems. Unfortunatley if you are after Siena etc it is a good 80 minutes drive from Pomarance because of the winding twisting roads. You first fall in love with these roads then, on the way back after a day of exhausting sightseeing, you wish they had a motorway.
Beautiful villa in the perfect location to explore Tuacany - right on the edge of Pomarance town which had supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc. The villa was spacious and had many comfortable living areas, indoors and out. All double bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped, including a washing machine. Host greeted us upon arrival and was always available to answer any questions and deal with minor issues that arose during our week long stay.
Place is really wonderfull piece of art, it is made for hedonists.

Place of Pomarance is full of very nice people so you can stop and chat with anyone on the street and feel like you are best neighbour, again feeling like in mouvies of Jean Renault and Gerard Depardie
An excellent location for our Tuscany part of the holidays. Very close to a lot of places to visit (Volterra, Montecatini or S. Gimignano). Also equally close to Firenze, Pisa and Siena. If you're inclined for less visit, the swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day. The owner is very helpful and kind.
The accommodation was basic, but had everything we needed. little things like the welcome basket, the pegs, large fan and having the restaurant available were great. Pomarance is a lovely little town, offering great food, super market, Pharmacy etc.

Very nice country house near Volterra and Pomarance. The apartment is great: big, nice with a lot off space and a parking space. The garden is beautifull.
