Great room - large, clean, en-suite, desk and having a mini fridge was great. Quiet and peaceful. Staff do not speak any English so not much communication and only saw on arrival / departure. Basic breakfast included, but such a lovely homely lounge setting.

Wonderful area of peace and tranquility. well away from commercial areas and a piece of real Italy set in wonderful landscape. Only 20 minutes from Vada beach and 50 mins from Baratti beach. In between
the two is San Vincenzo beach. Just under an hour from Volterra or San Gimignano, you can do one in the morning and one in the afternoon. A bit touristy but lovely views. Use the local bar for coffee and snacks plus the local two shops for provisions. Fresh baguettes every morning. The Buddhist School is a must, very welcoming to visitors and it has a cafe. Plus you can buy their own olive oil. Try the Pomaia Prosecco too!
Such a beautiful location. Julia welcomed us with her home made wine and olive oil, absolutely delicious! Pomaia is a nice village and the local bar has excellent coffee, although that shouldn't be a surprise in Italy Highly recommended!
