Polcinego is a quaint town between Venice and the Dolomites. We loved the feel of the town. There are two coffee shops and a few other restaurants. We have a son stationed at Aviano AFB and this location allowed us to see him and take day trips N and S. I LOVED the snow-capped Dolomites, and we enjoyed many hikes both in Polcinego and nearby.

Polcenigo, nice small town in eastern Friuli. Close to the Veneto region. Casa di Elsa: nice and renewed facility, clean, neat, with garden. Excellent breakfast. However, nicer locations are available in close proximity. Honest value for money.

It is very nice place very easy to get around. Necessities like where eat are close . You get easily go out to buy groceries only a walk to get there . There’s a bakery with fresh bread within walking distance . There’s a very nice ice cream store nearby. This is a very nice small town atmosphere where the people greet at every corner . I enjoyed the area .
