OK, we weren't expecting much after our overnight plane ride from the States. After finding it (a little tricky), we were very happy. There are just two rooms and we had the place to ourselves (a bonus). It's a lovely old house and it was immaculate and modernized. You can walk into the little village where there is a bar a few places to eat (Il Capriccio was excellent). It was perfect!

Hosts Angela and Enrico were very welcoming and informative. We opted to have the meals during our stay, they were superb and Angela took time to explain what was in the food, so were learned quite a lot. So as well as enjoying Enrico's excellent cooking, we came away with some tips!

The landscape and the outdoor areas were absolutely fabulous. The view from the room very good , plenty of towels and slippers. Restaurant staff the best, specially the girl who looked after us for dinner and breakfast, very fast, friendly and informative. The room was specious and clean but basic, no complaints.
The location was very nice, especially if you are interested in seeing the area. It is off the main roads with breathtaking views from the hotel. The Saturnia Thermal Springs are a very short 5 minute car ride away (highly recommended to see in the early morning when the crowds are smaller). Breakfasts were very good. The pool was beautifully situated on the property and never crowded. Rooms were cleaned very well on a daily basis. Great especially if you do not want to stay in the more crowded, major resort next to the thermal springs.
Everything! This hotel was amazing. We booked last minute after we visited the hot springs, and we got lucky! The manager was so very kind and helpful. They upgraded our room with balcony. The dinner was amazing with live romantic music. The included breakfast was perfect. Our only regret was we only stayed one night. Definitely recommend!
