What a beautiful place to stay ! Tuscan style house- Very close to historical towns!
We met a very friendly host - Francesca , who recommended what to do around, best historical places and towns to visit - what a treat!
Accommodation- was great, very clean: we have standard room, but big enough for our 4 suitcases, Comfortable bed, crispy clean bedsheets, good size bathroom.
Outside of the room - there’s little kitchenette with hot water , teas/ coffee, which was very handy .
Breakfast was amazing- homemade and delicious, great variety of different things. Also there’s option to dine in as well . In the evening- you can sit next to fireplace, very cosy and warm!
Overall , our stay - was amazing , feels like you are visiting a family- would highly recommend this place, and looking forward to stay there again !

Our wonderful host send us a message where to find our keys and the w-lan password so we could get into our room even without them present. Check in was super fast and she gave us some tips for our day trip.
Also you can visit the city center by foot and pak your car right infront of your room.

Very small room, small selection at breakfast, price much too high for what is offered, we made a roadtrip and in all the other hotels we had really nice rooms for a much cheaper price!!!
We travelled to Pitigliano for a long weekend in February.
We travelled to Pitigliano for a long weekend in February. The town is lovely and well-situated as a base for local travel. We had a car; not sure how well one could get around with public transportation. The restaurants that were open were all very good, but many were closed for the season. It was nice not having a deluge of tourists to deal with, but later in the year when everything is open would probably be a better time to visit.

The picturesque town of Pitigliano is a perfect base to explore Tuscany. The old town has charming and beautiful buildings, artisan shops, a cathedral and a synagogue, and the Via Cave is perfect for an interesting country walk, with lots of history and stunning landscapes.

Pitigliano is 100% worth a visit and you have to explore the Vie Cave nearby. Good restaurants and bars for a nice aperitivo.
Parking is paid in the blu outlined parking spaces or free in the white ones (both in the new part of the town).
Sorana and Sovrano are also worth a visit either by a hike, bike ride or just a short drive.

One of the many beautiful borgos (Historic town centers) of Toscana with interesting thematic trails of the Etruscan and nature heritage around the town. If you are in good physical condition, do not miss at least some of these trails, which are adventurous also for children.

This town is a must-see!
This town is a must-see! I recommend a one night stay so that you can wander its streets at night and see the city all lightned up. Very charming medieval city with a few restaurants and a beautiful view. Very easy to get to the old town even though cars can’t park inside, but the parking outside the old town is very close.

It’s a lovely walled town on top of a hill with lovely views and interesting places to visit within the walls as well as not being too far from the hot springs at Saturnia. The only negative side was that November is not a great month to go as most of the restaurants/ eating places are closed down for their holidays but we did find a nice pizzeria just outside the walls.
Lovely location surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. We especially enjoyed the white wine made by the estate for sale there. It is just around the corner from Pitigliano and very quiet. We appreciated the pool after a day of hiking the via cave and exploring the nearby charming towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana. The owner graciously gave us an apartment with a full kitchen and found a fan for us. This seems an odd thing to note but it had the best pillows in our two weeks in Italy -- something small but it makes it easier to sleep!
Pitigliano is fantastic. The room is without breakfast, it is opposite to another room. It has a nice common area, and a roof terrace for having your self prepared breakfast if you like. Newly renovated first floor room with a wiew, in a historical house, furnished with very good taste. Ideal for pairs, they like accommodation in the heart of a historical city and they are not afraid of having to drag their suitcases for a few minutes to the accomodation. The owner is very kind and helpful.
Location was amazing- right as you get into Pitigliano with modern appliances tucked into an old historic building. Paola handed me the keys upon arrival using WhatsApp to contact her and the property owner. That was easy, but I could see that being difficult if you don’t have service or are on airplane mode. The owner speaks English which was easy to communicate. The property itself was very cute, the bed one of the best I’ve slept on in Europe (which is saying something).
Excellent attention to detail both in the accommodation and the staff. Un-prompted texted pre-communication regarding traffic restrictions and parking space location. Nice welcome and mini-guided explanation of the major attributes of Pitigliano on the short walk between the parking space and the property. Perfect location in the heart of the town, but with effectively sound insulated windows, and silent but effective air conditioning.
Special place. Pulling in we felt immediately relaxed and welcomed. The entire hardworking host family made us feel at home and quickly oriented us to our stay in Pitigliano. Francesca recommended sites and hikes and we were off equipped with a local map. Dinners were something special in the authentic Tuscan dining room with fresh home cooked meals, wonderful wine and a little Limoncello. This was a highlight of our trip.
It is a quiet and personal agriturismo. The owners are really friendly and provided us with their own red wine and cake. The apartment and garden were very spacious and both decorated with pretty flowers. The kitchen is also fully equipped, making it easy to cook here. There are also some adorable cats and dogs around. Pitigliano, where you can go out for dinner, is only 10 min away. Would highly recommend this agriturismo!
Romina, her husband and her mother were wonderful hosts. Couldn't ask for better hospitality and welcome. Great breakfast, delicious vino Tuscana, and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the region. if we are able to come back to Tuscana, we would love to stay here again. Close to Sovano, Pitigliano and Sorano. Saturnia (the natural thermal baths) are also only 38 minutes away by car.
A top location probably not only in Italy but on an international level. An apartment carved deep into the mountain of Pitiglaiano village, right at the edge of the cliff. Specious. Incredible view from many windows and a terrace where you can eat or have coffee or wine inside nature. The staff was very helpful and a small problem we had was fixed in no time. The same with every question.
Location was superb, very central although the apartment was in a quite part of town. The apartment had a big double room, a kitchenette and a very spacious bathroom. The space was rustic but extremely comfy and if we had more time to spend in Pitigliano we surely would have spent also more time in the apartment - it felt like home away from home.
Brilliant location, nestled away in the old parts of town, right in the middle of where you want to be.
Clean, beautifully furnished and with all of the amenities you'd need for a nice a stay in Pitigliano.
Very small room, small selection at breakfast, price much too high for what is offered, we made a roadtrip and in all the other hotels we had really nice rooms for a much cheaper price!!!
Wonderful experience, right in the city centre of Pitigliano. Our host has done an amazing job with the flat: every room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything was spotless!
Great city. the hotel is cute and staff is extremely friendly! it is a family own property. Breakfast is great and homemade. I highly recommend this place ❤️
Nice little hotel with a lot of Italian charm. Very good placement in the small, but impressive town of Pitigliano. Very good breakfast and friendly staff😀
