The breakfast was very good. Also dinner was on very good level. The staff of hotel was very frendly and prepare help us with everything. But special thanks to ouners of this hotel, Mrs. Sonia and her son Ivan. Those people are fantastic and creating very nice atmosfere of this hotel every day. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, nice and great value for money. Rooms are spacious with clean showers and towels every day. The owner is really nice ( his dog too 😀). There's a nice "family" mood. Breakfast is awesome and you should try dinner with 3 dishes too. There's space for skis and a dedicated room for ski boots so they are dry and warm in the morning. Ski bus stop is 50m from hotel. I really liked our stay and would come back anytime!

Alpenhotel La Montanara offers panoramic views. Set in Sottoguda village, just 3 km outside Rocca Pietore, it is ideal for hiking in summer and skiing in winter with a ski bus every 30 minutes.

The restaurant and spa were closed despite stating they were open on booking.com. However the staff were really lovely & helpful. Fabulous location but would only go there again to ski, not for summer break.

Perfect location, approximately 8 minutes by car from the Malga Ciapela cable car to Marmolada (the slope from Marmolada is connected to the Arraba ski area, so you don't have to drive all the way to Arraba). Very tasty scrambled eggs and a selection of cheeses and hams, great croissants for breakfast. An even better dinner, a choice of 3 starters and 4 main courses, a dessert of your choice for free. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and big enough! :) Very nice and comfortable wellness with a hot tub and several saunas.
