Since we were traveling to a small mountain village, I was not expecting to find the comfort of a brand new structure with attention to detail! The room was superb, with the heating working perfectly, a new comfortable mattress, and premium bedding with a choice of different cushions (which was critical for me as I suffer from neck pain).
The owners were very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed at all times and providing us with useful information about the area.
Breakfast was delicious, with fresh croissants, homemade cakes, and genuine products from local farmers.
And lastly, I need to mention they have a ski storage with heaters for your ski boots!!! Wearing warm ski boots in the morning is the best way to start your skiing day!

Pierre is a very welcoming host. The location is very quiet which is just what I was looking for. I was there to ski in Prali (great place) and it’s 18k drive through the beautiful valleys to Prali. It looks an ideal base for summer walking too! I would recommend having the evening meal too as it was a great selection of home made Piemonte cuisine from Pierre. Rustic charm! Highly recommended for a quiet stay in the mountains.

Hostess Tiziana was lovely and very helpfull.
Although we don't speak Italian, she did her absolute best to make everything clear.
The appartement is spacious with everything you need in abundance. The kitchen is a little small but workable. You can hear the traffic from the busy central road on the front balcony and living room but not too disturbing because the house is not directly on the main road. Also, the bedroom with extra balcony is nice and quiet. The bathroom with loads of towels, showergels, shampoos etc. felt like a little spa, wich is nice after a day commuting between busy cities or hiking in the mountains. So, good value for the price and a great hostess.

Our stay in Miando Rooms, a room in a separate house next to the Miando Albergo and GTA-Posto Tappa, was perfect! In Miando Rooms you have an own bathroom and the owner and manager Pierluigi and his team provide you with everything you can wish for after returning from a full day of hiking: Excellent drinks, homemade food for dinner and breakfast and great sandwiches for the next day. Pierluigi is a very nice person and offered to pick us up with his car when we stopped the hiking at Basiglia.
