The location is really strategical. Close to the main village of the island and facing the sunset. Quite old-style rooms but super clean (congrats to the cleaning staff). Breakfast is rich although quite standard. Nice fresh water swimming pool and excellent sea water swimming pools of the other hotel of the same owner (Mursia). The facilities of the other hotel are accessible also to Cossyra's clients. Surely recommended!

Pantelleria is a hidden gem. Still untouched from mass tourism. The whole island is a nature preserve. The water is spectacular although sometimes hard to get down to. Shopping is limited however dining out is not a problem and quite good.

It is a beautiful and interesting island, with an incredible clear sea, but was excruciatingly hot and the sea was full of jellyfish. Choose carefully the month you want to visit Pantelleria: if you don't like extreme heat, perhaps better to go in May-June or September-October

PAntelleria is one of those places which you either like or dislike; its shortcomings and very unspoilt nature are its beauty; the people too are relaxed and have learnt to ,make the best of their harsh environment; we were amazed at how its natural beauties have not been commercialized yet and at the good quality of the food in the restaurants ; sometimes even surprised with some particular cuisine like sweet made from ricotta and capers which is one of their limited produce

The island is amazing and so unique.
The island is amazing and so unique. With a mask and a snorkel you can watch so many fish on the volcanic rock seabed, and feel the warmth of the hot springs in the sea. The food is wonderful, typically the island is based more on agriculture than fish, so you will see wineries, capers plantations, and areas where tomatoes, vegetables, figs, olives and all kinds of herbs are grown. A typical dish is the Pantesca salad, which is delicious!

Not too overtouristed due to not so easy access.
Not too overtouristed due to not so easy access. Few places in Europe left to stay in nice place alone and quite. Some area still very rural. Impressed of how really weather-dependent everything is. Wind, sun... Great to feel remoteness - you can not go further with just schengen and euros in your pocket
Driving around requires some skill
this cozy and Private resort is made up of few apartments within a gorgeous Villa and a few dammusi around it all facing a secluded and pleasant olive and rosemary garden. the peace and silence while enjoying the pool won us over immediately and we spent way more time than we wanted to hanging out at the place because of the beautiful setting. the staff was helpful and the lady caring for the breakfast very nice.
Everything! The dammusi are elegant, spacious, very clean and with a private terrace with seaview. The pool overlooking the sea is amazing and Claudia‘s homemade aperitivo service so delicious - as well as breakfast. Claudia is just great! She was very friendly, flexible and arranged really nice trips for us around the island. I would absolutely love to stay there again!
The kindness of the host, his helpfulness and his attention to the guests.
The property is at 5-7 minutes from the sea (rocks and platform) and it is very quiet.
In the "dammuso" (the typical Pantelleria construction) you can find a little house with all the needed to experience a glass of wine or to cook.
Mirko is an amazing host who went above and beyond for us. The accommodation is beautifully designed (and somehow even better than the pictures!) and the pool was the perfect quiet spot to relax. We would come back in a heartbeat.
Beautiful outdoor kitchen to make dinner with a view - the photos on the listing simply do not do it justice! Lovely pool to swim in and you’re not too far from some beaches and vineyards.
