We have been changing the arrival time and texted Cinzia 1 hour before arrival and when we arrived at the car park around the corner, Cinzia came personally to the car park to welcome us.
The maisonette apartment is perfect for the two of us, it’s amazing beautiful and full of Cinzia’s great taste with very treasurable antique items. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a week or so, so as it’s kitchen. Cinzia also gave us great tips eating and exploring around the village.
The absolute highlight is their private farm/beach/garden, absolutely stunning, figs, lemon, orange, pepper trees, just to make a few; you just get to swim in Lake Como with it all to yourself. It’s 20mins walk from the apartment but it worths it!
We might stay at Cinzia‘s cottages in the garden or other apartments/house next time. Very much looking forward to return to this magical place, and nicest and most hospitable people! thank you so much Cinzia!

We had such a lovely couple of days in Nesso staying in this wonderful little cottage. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the fantastic views of the lake while soaking up the sun in the garden. Our dog also enjoyed watching the boats on the lake. Cinzia, our host was extremely friendly and helpful; saving us a parking spot, helping with luggage, producing some very fresh eggs for our breakfast and advising on restaurants and shops. We would definitely return. It’s a lovely quiet retreat after busy days of sightseeing.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The location is unbeatable - right by the bus stop and really close to the lake when you want to go swimming. There is a lovely garden to sit in, and a restaurant, bar and store very nearby as well.
The host was amazing and easy to get a hold of. Alessandro and his family were so generous and absolutely lovely. We were only sorry that we didn’t have time to stay even longer.
Do yourself a favor and book this amazing place! It’s bound to be one of the best in Lake Como for sure.

Nesso is quiet and not full of tourists - very authentic and picturesque. There are wonderful passage ways to explore and swimming areas on the lake. It’s small enough to walk around and you can catch the bus or ferry to nearby towns including Bellagio.

We missed the chance for a boat trip - do take one it is a stunning lake.
We ate at Tre Rose and it was wonderful home cooked food.
The road into and out of nesso is steep and full of hazards with cars etc coming very quickly in the opposite direction. Not for the feint hearted.
I would not miss the chance to visit again and the swim in Como was one of the highlights of my life. So gorgeous and swimming amongst fish in a stunning place around the bridge is unforgettable.

A very quiet town, only one restaurant (Hotel Tre Rose) but highly recommended. Don't drive there... first time visitors to Italy and confident drivers but the roads around here are lethal. Ended up crashing our hire car due to how people drive there. Nesso is great, but there is nothing going on in the evenings. Public transport links are fab, bus to popular areas only 2 Euro and 25 mins. Ferry port also. But last public transport is early so get back around 7pm with not much to fill the evening with. Nice and quiet though if thats what you like, with the ability to get to the busier areas.

It is a little remote from restaurants and sightseeing, except the gorgeous views of the mountains and lake. 20 minutes either way by car to the main towns. But that is its attraction.The apartment has a large kitchen and living room so we cooked there each evening. No eating and drinking out as the road home is very narrow and winding. Big and cheap Carrefour supermarket in Como. Drive up the hill through Nesso and on to Belagio rather than just the coastal route. Spectacular.

Hired a car at the airport and would have been better using 3 or 4 centres in order to see more of Italy.
Not a great deal in Nesso….other than Tre Rose, where we dined every night. Excellent food and service.
The boat service provided for travelling around the lake was well organised and very pleasant to use so we made full use of this.Our favourite place lakeside was Verenna and Villa Carlotta there was the highlight,well worth the entrance fee.
Lake Como is a great holiday destination for people who enjoy beautiful scenery and exploring quaint little villages where there is something for everyone. Highly recommended.

An amazing town, famous for their cascades. You can view the cascades down the pathway from the apartment, where you can go and eat at the local restaurant pizzeria Ness! Recommended!
We had a lease car, so getting around to other towns like Bellagio and Como were easy, but in having said that, the roads up here are challenging! There is a bus service if required to visit other towns.
My stay was truly exceptional, thanks to our host, Linda. From the moment we planned our trip to Italy, Linda's attention to detail and care were evident. She reached out to us well before our arrival, ensuring that every detail was addressed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. During our stay, she frequently checked in via WhatsApp, offering guidance and support whenever we needed it. Linda's proactive approach and personal touch made our experience unforgettable. I can't recommend her highly enough!
Wow. This apartment is so special… a bright, airy, beautifully designed place with the most gorgeous view of Como (the photos don’t even do it justice). The host Emanuela was so helpful and kind, and she left us the sweetest welcome basket. We visited many other towns around the lake, and couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else but Nesso. We debated renting a car, and ultimately glad we did, but loved our daily hikes down to the water. I’ll be dreaming about this place until we can come back!
I stayed in the property with wife and 2 kids, and we were very comfortable. We loved the interior and furnishings. The owner is very kind and gives good advice about what to do in the area. The location is also great, a short walk to the Nesso town center where there are restaurants and access to public transportation. The property has free parking, which was great as we were driving. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again when we are back in the area.
It’s heavenly! The place is super clean, completely renovated, better than a 7 star hotel. The kitchen is super equipped. The owners maintained this place as their own home so everything here is top quality furniture, mattresses, washer, dishwasher, etc. cleaning supplies and toiletries are provided. The drive up is a bit tricky but we knew that in advance. We had a big car but it was manageable. Follow the owners directions and you’ll be good.
Angela was very communicative, friendly, and accommodating. She was willing to meet us at the property to give us the keys at whatever time worked best for us. She also gave us some great recommendations of the area. On top of that, the apartment was perfectly clean, had great air conditioning (amazing amenity in the heat of the summer), and a view of the lake that certainly cannot be beat. Grazie Mille Angela! Nesso was amazing.
Cinzis is a wonderful host, very friendly and kind. The apartment is very well equipped and there is a small supermarket with another very friendly owner a few steps away. As long as you are comfortable with climbing up and down the steps to the main road and swimming spot below, it is a wonderful location. In our opinion, a far more authentic way to enjoy Lake Como than staying in the city.
This is a really special place to stay, owners have made it a beautiful home to visit. Everything we could possible need to be comfortable was in the room and the owners we friendly and provided great advice on what to do in the area. Easy to find and easy to exchange keys. Beautiful glimpses of Lake Como through the dining room/living room windows. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

We loved the place, Rozeta is such a warm and friendly host. Nesso is a cute little town in lake Como and you can easily walk around town. It was very nice having two rooms, a fridge and washing machine for clothes. The best part is the view, which is incredible!
The property is in a quiet village half way between Como and Bellagio and has stunning views from both the terrace and the balcony. Nesso is a half an hour walk along the road. The host was very friendly and super helpful and the property was well equipped.
