Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped; staff is very professional and friendly, attentive to guests; attractive, interesting Muranese-themed decor in public rooms - all in good taste w/comfort and intimacy in mind; small fitness area by reservation only - good eqpmt; very good bar+terrace; also interior bar which is more intimate (lovely barman!); airport transfer. And location is excellent (if you want a quieter stay than in central Venice (only short boat ride to Venice, purchased ticket required), ambiance of Murano is interesting/authentic). Overall, a very good experience. we recommend.
Hotel Conterie is set in the heart of Murano, right by the Murano Museo water bus stop, just a short ride from Venice. The Marco Polo Airport is just 20 minutes away by water taxi.

Beautiful, quiet location on Murano, close to several good restaurants and a superb glass workshop. Deceptive and distinctive building layout. Nice terrace. Owner was very polite.

Location is very convenient to the Murano Navagero ferry stop. It is a 3 min walk and it is easy to pull your luggage that far. The property location is on a peninsula overlooking the Venice Laguna. The owner Claudio is very friendly and has lived on the property for many years. He explained he converted to a B&B in 2016. There is a nice little garden with table and chairs set up to enjoy the evenings and look out over the water.
Frederica, at the front desk was fluent in English and explained things about using the ferries and which stops to use in Venice. She made recommendations for dinner and lunch and both locations were great places to eat.
We only stayed 2 nights and had one of the mini-suite rooms on the 2nd floor, I recommend those. Our traveling companions had a room on the 1st floor that was nice but did not have much extra space for their belongings. Both types of room had a water kettle for boiling water and a mini-refrigerator.
We liked the Murano island location, it is away from the crowds in Venice. In the evenings the Murano day visitors go back to where they are staying and the streets are very calm and nearly deserted. We stayed at Casa Tulu B&B in early May.
Providing city views, MURANO Suites BOUTIQUE Apartments in Murano features accommodations and a bar.

The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly the location was amazing! We had a view of the water which we loved, and Murano island is not near as busy as Venice, so coming back from Venice at nights was relaxing.
A recently renovated vacation home, MURANO Place - MISTRO House offers accommodations in Murano. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a terrace.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
What an absolute gem. The best accommodation I have ever stayed in. I am so not staying in hotels anymore. I have booked 3 self catering places for this trip, and this was by far the best. Not that the other were bad, but Murano Suites(Amethyst) was the best.
Yes, Murano do roll up their streets at 4PM, and Monday to Wednesday there are hardly any places open to eat at night, but that makes for a relaxed environment. Day-trips from Murano is also easy.
Will definitely be back.
I really enjoyed my stay at Comfort Murano Room. It's perfect if you want to get away from the tourist crowds in Venice. The room has everything you need, including a comfortable bed, mini fridge, kettle, even a panini maker! The shower is the largest I've seen in Italy and there's plenty of hot water. You can even hear the waves lapping up the side of the house at night. There's a very easy self check- in system. Highly recommended!
Excellent location near Venice with ferry service every 20 minutes. Murano Palace is located on one of the main canals in Murano, close to shops, restaurants and bars. Rooms had period design and are very clean. Breakfast was continental and loved the corneti. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at Murano Palace.
We had a very good time at Murano palace. Impeccable place and wonderful, friendly staff. Very nice and stylishly antique furbished room with a view on the canal. Comfortable bed. Nice bath with bathtub/shower. A tiny fridge for drinks and snacks. Calm at night. Murano is beautiful. And Venice only 15 min away, easily reachable by Vaporetto.
The location in Murano is much more quiet than on the main island of Venice, yet well connected by vaporetti. The island also has much to see and all you need for cafes restaurants, grocerie storres and of course, glass shops. Rooms were clean and well cooled by AC. The little front yard serves well for sitting outside. Kind staff.
The location on the island of Murano was fabulous. The island is peaceful and beautiful - away from the crowds of Venice but easily accessible by water bus. The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchen and a washing machine. We loved staying there and would happily stay again in the future.
Our room was cold as an igloo!
The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, nor are towels changed!
The taxi boat is always fully booked!
And when you asked something at reception, it’s like you cause them trouble.
If you don’t want to feel uncomfortable and enjoy Murano, I recommend you look for a different hotel.
It is hard to express my feelings about our stay because it was a 100 of 100 not only a 10 of 10 it is by far one of the best hotels I have been through the last years please stay as you are because you are over the top realy thx for a unvorgetable stay we will come again next year for 100%
The property owner had a kind young lady meet us at the Murano boat stop and guide us to our apartment and she also answered any questions we had regarding the apartment or Murano. Also the apartment is very large and comfortable, clean, and next to the canal and St Peter church of Murano.
The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly the location was amazing! We had a view of the water which we loved, and Murano island is not near as busy as Venice, so coming back from Venice at nights was relaxing.
Fabulous location and lovely spacious place to stay. Murano is a perfect base to explore Venice and the other islands and has plenty to explore in itself. The beds were comfy and the bathroom and kitchen were spacious and very functional. We had a very lovely stay.
We loved to stay in murano, less crowded that Venice, and just a 10 minute boat from the it. The hotel was so cozzy, the host was so kind, she help us with the boats schedule and preparing our breakfast the day we were leaving
Fantastic view of the laguna, especially from the rooftop.
Great breakfast and good food choices.
Lovely area to stay if you want to visit Murano and also Venice, since the hotel is close to the "vaporetto" (ferry) stop.
Spacious and we'll equipped apartment. You can cook a meal, sit in the garden, watch Netflix series on the huge TV, and of course explore the city of Murano as if YOU are a citizen, wonderful experience.
The location and the space were fantastic (but could use some darker curtains in the bathroom)! It was very quiet but easy to move in and out of Venice and surrounding areas. Definitely recommend!
