Mondello has a lot to offer anyone, from singles, young and old, families and retirees. We went in early May, so the weather was a bit on the cool side, but there was still plenty of people on the beach. The crowd size at that time of year was manageable. There are plenty of places to eat and we enjoyed good food. It is a very walkable area. It is not a far drive from Palermo City Center (average 30 -40 minutes depending on traffic).

We tried trattoria "L'angolo di Mondello Trattoria da Franco" on Piazza Mondello and "Alle Terrazze". The first one (Franco) is a family-driven local, traditional place, the second one is a first-class restaurant with a very high standard, with excellent panorama view.

Very friendly and hospitable host - Roberta. Fab breakfast, home baked cakes every morning with a huge choice of goodies incl eggs anyway you like i.e. poached, scrambled, omelet's etc. Quiet location but within a very short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre ...
The room was lovely, very clean and spacious with a great balcony, the air-con was wonderful too ...

Beautiful scenery, close to Palermo, sandy beaches and few local restaurants. We were out of season so I am sure it's more buzzing during the summer. There was a great restaurant with fresh sea food just across the Art Hotel.

Mondello has all the capabilty to be a first-rate tourist destination: the sandy beach, the transparent clear water, the landscape, the old villas. I just can't understand why they can't keep the streets clean to match the natural environment. The rubbish almost ruins everything.

Mondello is a lovely little town with some good restaurants and a beautiful beach! It is only a 30 min bus ride away from Palermo and the busses are cheap and easy to navigate. It is not a party town, but was perfect for us as the beach was a 5 minute walk away as were many nice cafes and restaurants. We walked out to Capo Gallo, which was really beautiful and great to be able to jump into the ocean for a quick cooling down.

Marina treated us with so many tasty things including her famous Carciofi, that now we have to come back with presents from our homes.

Clean, cozy, had both laundry machine and espresso maker as well as full kitchen. Good location 15 min walk from main beaches and lungomare. The host was extremely helpful and appeared just in time as we arrived 3 hours late and were unable to warn him due to cell service outage. He also gave us a ride into Palermo (over 30 minute drive!) on our leaving day which was incredibly kind and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough, would rate 20/10, and thank you so much to the host!
We absolutely loved Josh’s house. It was a comfortable and safe oasis in Mondello. We had spent 3.5 weeks traveling around Sicily and was our first ground floor accommodation and we really enjoyed spending time in the gorgeous space outside. Comfortable beds, pillows and couches, it had everything we needed. Josh also helped organise a transfer to the airport and was very helpful with supplying a high chair, cot and even still + sparkling water.
The place was very clean, well organized, exactly like the pictures and it was quiet. I was able to sleep well every night and wake up when I want without any disturbance then walk 2 minutes across the street to the Mondello beach. I was able to go windsurfing nearby and the Italian food options are plenty in the direct vicinity. Dario is the host, he is a great guy, very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely like to go back.

The house is beautiful, with lovely views of the ocean, super clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast, walking distance from the beach, near restaurants, shops, city centre, and with the best hosts Silvana and Eugenio!

Great stuff, all the information was given by Riccardo. Great location Mondello, you just cross the street and you at the beach. You can get to location from Crocce Rosa/Palermo by 806 bus. Room was nice, good accommodation, bathroom clean, you can see the beach and the sun welcomes you in the morning. I would definitely will be staying next time.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. An oasis of calm and relaxation. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. We had very tasty food and were extremely well catered for in vegetarian options. The rooms are absolutely beautiful.

Location was absolutely brilliant. It’s about 40 seconds - 1 minute to get to the best restaurants. The host was extremely kind and accommodating to everything my sister and I wanted. The free bikes were such a plus. Had a lovely ride down to the beach for lunch. When I come back to Sicily, I’ll book this hotel again
Apartment is beautiful! Clean, airy, the views from balconies are amazing. if you wanna cook - the kitchen is fully equiped. The host always tried to help us with all our queries. There is always place for parking and to reach the Mondello beach - it is app 5 mins drive.

The pool was very nice. After a long flight from USA we wanted to relax in Mondello for two days prior to visiting Palermo. This hotel/pool were perfect! And, breakfast very good! Also great room shower.
