Lovely hotel with lovely decor, lovely hospitality including wine upon arrival and free upgrade and well decorated rooms. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax and wonderful Piemonte view. A lovely relaxed hotel. Surprised they charge an extra €20pp for breakfast which is highly unusual and unheard of in our extensive travels including in this area where hotels are usually extremely generous with breakfasts. That said, we do recommend the hotel as a lovely break.

Mombaruzzo is perfectly located for wine enthusiasts who want to experience both the classic wines of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero as well as those from the Monferrato region (some excellent Barbera and lesser known wines including Ruché) but its fantastic Amaretti Morbido are the star attraction (the café around the corner makes the best). The villa is beautiful the appartment is extremely comfortable with a great view over the village. Paola, who lives on site, is very friendly and helpful. There really is very little to fault about the place (see below for nit picking) and it is amazing value for money.
Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Il Girasole is located in Mombaruzzo, 40 km from Serravalle Golf Club. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking.

This hotel is absolutely the best from the best! If I could give a higher mark then a 10 I would have given it without a doubt. For me this hotel is the Italian dream. From the warm welcome of Nicola to the cozy and spacious suite, the fine food, friendly staff, the luscious plants and flowers, beautiful pool and stunning views at the valley. It really felt like a home away from home. I talked to another couple who was at La Villa for the fourth time on a row! We will also return to this warm and elegant hotel! The location was lovely, the staff and hotel itself were great. The owner is amazing and she did a great job with the facility. I was a little disappointed regarding the lack of wine production and substantial upcharge for surrounding wines (a 9.50€ bottle being sold for 24€). I enjoyed my time here but would not stay here again and can’t fully recommend it unless you are looking to spend money for a fancy experience.
La Villa Hotel is absolutely fabulous, we've stayed here on a number of occasions and will continue to do so. The rooms are gorgeous (with really special attention to detail), Nicola the owner is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and overlook the stunning Piedmont landscape its just a great place to come and explore the area and re-charge your batteries.
The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and being able to watch those from the pool is just amazing. The hotel itself looks lovely, the breakfast was amazing and the figs you can just pluck and eat are the best. Once the hotel staff is there, they are absolutely lovely and try to help in any way they can.
Amazing straff and customer service, delicious breakfast, amazing restaurant, breath-taking views and overall the most relaxing place to be. The rooms are so comfortable and beautifully decorated. This was our second stay at La Villa and we will return again and again. One of my absolute favourite hotels.
The hotel is amazing, the location absolutely breathtaking. The staff was very helpful (booked restaurants, booked the Berta tour and guided us through the hotel facilities). The hotel is perfect is you want to relax, enjoy the landscape, nature and good food. The restaurant is top notch!
