The walk from the San Pellegrino pass to rifugio fuciada is fantastic as it is pretty flat, not too far (8 km round trip approx) and can be done with snow boots even in Dec/Jan. The scenery of the mountains and warm atmosphere, drinks and food of the rifugio make it an fabulous winter walk. Busses are available from Moena to the pass.

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is not on the doorstep of the skiing resorts, but a short transfer (15min) will take you to the most common ones - San Pellegrino area being our favourite. While not being on the doorstep of skiing, it has the advantage that you can try out different areas, all with different characteristics.

The city is surrounded by beautiful nature and allows for so many activities. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants from affordable to expensive. We tried both and never got disappointed.
Highly recommend Moena (or other surrounding cities). Perfect to relax after a busy and active day.
The position of the apartment is perfect! There is a free parking in the residence where you can leave the car and walk directly to the places around, literally walking distance to San Pellegrino lake, 2 funiculars and and many tracks. Moena town is just 10 minutes away. Very close to wonderful other places around by car. I would highly recommend Chiara’s apartment to anyone! The apartment is lovely and neat clean, with beautiful views on the mountain. Conveniently, there are also a coffee shop and a restaurant in the residence.
Good hotel with very welcoming ant charming owner. Our room wasn't big, but very tidy with newly renovated and clean bathroom. We found in the room everything we could need, and the owner of hotel was always ready to help if something else needed. Breakfast was really nice, a lover of sweets would be happy to see variety of pastries :)

Very nice hotel. Very nice host family. Great, clean room, with nice view. Everything the room needed was there and was working. Elevator. Convinient parking. Very clean. The room was being groomed twice a day. Great breakfast and outstanding dinner, with outstanding atmosphere. I never ever eaten food as good while skiing in Italy before, not at restaurants or on the slopes. Everything far exceeded all expectations.
Beautiful, updated property. The entire place was very clean- the room, bed, bathroom, were very comfortable and modern. The breakfast buffet was great- many delicious choices, and the spa area was wonderful. We used the sauna and Turkish bath almost every day. The dinner in the hotel was also delicious , the staff was wonderful and helpful. Car parking was conveniently right outside the hotel.
We absolutely loved the hotel, the location is perfect! We loved the bedroom, it was very cozy and extremely clean. The breakfast was excellent for the two of us and the idea to have it delivered to our room is great I believe. The hotels restaurant has a wonderful atmosfere and the food was delicious (tagliatelle con funchi porcini e speck!). We hope to be back soon!
Best possible localisation (quiet but close to Moena center 7 minutes by foot, skibus 3 minutes, Alpe Lusia lift 8 minutes by car), nice room cleaned every day, tasty breakfests but what is most important wonderful hospitality of Christina - she made our vacation in Val di Fassa wonderful time. If we visit this region again for sure we would love to stay here!
The Central Hotel was closed for remodel, and we were very happy to be accommodated at the lovely Maria Hotel. Nice quiet downtown location. Exceptionally helpful desk clerk who went out of her way to find us and get us to the right location. Beautiful room with two balconies, nice breakfast and easy to park. Thanks so much!
Stayed for 4 nights to snowboard around the beautiful Val di Fassa and Passo San Pellgrino. Excellent location to Moena - only 10 min walk along a nice valley to the town. Nice staff, lovely room, highly recommended!
Casa Venturini is very well located near Moena's city center and it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The house is super homey, and Filippo was a fantastic host, I fully recommend it.

Newly build, excellent access by driving short to ski areas like Alpe Lusia, Latemar or Sella Ronda. Great with Sauna and swimming pool. Walking distance to great restaurants in Moena.
