I liked this town, but since it’s small and it’s mostly a seaside holiday, I would recommend a 5-6 day trip. I was there for 2 weeks, it was a little boring. I’ve beeing in good restaurants,for example, La Shabula, Il Pierrot.

I can NOT recommend this place to anyone.
I can NOT recommend this place to anyone. It is close to the sea but you can’t se it enourmus stabilimenti’. If you do go to the sea the water seams dirty and not worth swimming in. The best you can do is to use the place for driving to other places near by - Siena, Pisa, Lerici… Do not stay in Marina di Carrara 😡 Terrible place! A nightmare!

It is a very interesting area as it is a holiday destination but it is also where the famous Carrara Marble comes from. It is quite fascinating going up and seeing them cut great chunks of marble from the surrounding area.

We stayed here as a base for Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lucca etc as we had a car. It was a nice place with a lovely host and comfortable apartment. Good neighbourhood quite close to the sea, there were a lot of good food shops nearby.

Well, we have been in September, when season comes to an end, so city was quite, most of restaurants were closed, althought beaches were quite empty even if weather was awesome. Sandy beaches, 3 public, clean, however lot of guys selling stuff... exhausting.

The best hosts we have ever had. Chiara, her mom Carla and her funny husband Luca are super friendly, always ready to help, they prepare an excellent homemade breakfast (also vegetarian, thanks again for that :)) and they give great tips. The warmth with which we were received was extraordinary. We are very grateful that we could be there. It couldn't have been better and we always love to come back and recommend this beautiful villa to everyone who wants to stay in Marina di Carrara. Thanks for everything!:)
Really nice place to stay. Our room was spacious and clean. Additionally included a fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Staff (David) was very friendly and offered us to use a beach umbrella and couple of bicycles. Going to the beach by bike only takes a few minutes. There is also a huge garden (good for kids), plenty of chairs, tables, and a grill for a barbeque. Most definitely recommend this place!
Brilliant location! Wonderfully maintained Beach town property. There is also an outer area to sit and relax. We were there in the mid of a heat wave. There were no fans in the apartment. But the hosts were communicative and tried to ask the neighbors for fans and texted to say they are thinking of getting some in the future. So it was overall a very pleasant experience staying at the place.
Francesca made many welcome personal touches - breakfast brioches, fruit juice, milk, coffee, water, wine, oil, vinegar and all condiments, tissues, plenty soft towels ... A/C in bedroom very welcome even in September. Large bedroom and good WIFI and big TV. The marble sink in the kitchen. The property is near the beach and centre of Marina di Carrara.
It was interesting to visit this traditional italian house and it was interesting experience if you want to go outside of standart hotel room. All necessary facilities with well equipt bathroom and kitchen. Living room and bedroom. Near to the beach, just10 minutes to go and near to visit 5terre.Owner, Tiziana was nice and kind, helpful to everything.
A nice and chic boutique hotel with comfortable and clean suites. The most amazing about this hotel ist the friendly team of Benedetta and her colleagues who really care about their guests and make you feel welcome. This is such a lovely place to stay.
A beautiful B and B that was spotlessly clean. Good sized room and great security. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. If you stay in Marina di Carrara we highly recommend that you stay at Villino Micol.
It fulfilled my requirement: close to port of Marina Di Carrara, parking area, large room with kitchen, private bathroom, very clean and hosts very cooperative. The room had own terrace for sunny days.
Room with great size, nice breakfast, air conditioning very good. The star of the room is the terrace, with 2 sides (so always one side in the sun and one in the shadow). Very good hotel.
I like the most is the service they giving to us and the whole place is very clean. Price seems high but it's not in reality because of what you are getting from booking this place.
