The woman behind reception was amazing and so helpful, unfortunately it was only her working in the hotel - which I have never seen before! She was running around doing everything trying to help everyone.

Stunning hotel, beatifully deocrated and very well maintained. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The manager was very responsive on whatsapp but we did feel like we had to constantly message her to ask fr anything like pool towels or an iron. Facilities were all readily available but had to be requested.

It was a convenient apartment for us with two separate rooms, one large and the other normal. Clean and everything in order. It was a typical italian breakfast, but everything good and fresh, the host very polite and assisting during breakfast.

Hmm interesting, not a lot of English spoken down this far, we don’t expect people to have to talk English at all, but I think people weren’t confident talking to us so avoided us, they weren’t rude just not too helpful.
Parking is quite easy as not busy here.
There’s not as much to do here or as many tourist attractions as further north . We enjoyed Lecce very much. But Oria and Manduria not so much. Food was very good when we found somewhere but getting to sit down and feel comfortable was difficult.
We didn’t do the beaches as we never stay long anyway but I think we should have given it a go.

A good starting point for destinations by the sea.
A good starting point for destinations by the sea. Manduria is eminently charming although going longer than a week makes it necessary to eat in the same places. The restaurant base is not very large.

We travelled in the first week of October and the weather was around 25 degrees and very pleasant.
There are some very wonderful buildings to view and narrow streets to explore.
The statutory siesta between 1pm and 5pm is a daily occurrence even for some of the big supermarkets .
Restaurants will make a service charge on the bill around 22%
Beware that Taxis are few and far between. and Very expensive.
We took a 3km journey with return total 6 km and were charged 40 Euros a second taxi wanted to charge us 100 Euros for a return journey totalling 14 km (we did not take them up on this)

Lovely town with great restaurants and friendly people.
Lovely town with great restaurants and friendly people.
Not a huge amount to do so would recommend a few nights maximum but very quaint and beautiful town to visit. Authentic and delicious Italian food and great service in restaurants.
Miracle house. Something extraordinary. Touch of medieval from the walls, admiring construction abilities of our ancestors together with really gentle improvements which added sockets, hot water and all facilities which are in modern 21th century house. Add to this imagine the top hospitality from nice smiling owner of the house, welcoming plates and not only water in fridge when you come makes this stay unforgettable.
You are in the real center of Manduria, just few steps from restaurants and cafés.
Amazing place to stay at! The house is specious and has everything you may need. It is located in the heart of Manduria, and about 10 min walk from the train station. It has a natural coolness, so wonderful to come back after a hot day out. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a delicious breakfast and dinner. The rooms have smart TVs, so you can watch all internet based programs as well.
We loved the place!
We stayed in the secluded family suite. It was absolutely great, full privacy, lush beautiful rose garden, high quality interior and all essentials you need to a comfy stay. It is like staying in a villa, yet you can benefit from the abundant breakfast, room service and exceptional hospitality of the host and her team. This place is a hidden gem of Manduria and it could be THE reason to visit this charming town.
The hotel was impressive - as the gate opened, it felt as if we were entering a cool villains lair! The execution of the interiors was lovely and the grounds are impeccable. The pool is lovely to spend time around too. The room was lovely - although a little dark when trying to do your makeup in the evening. Breakfast was lovely+ fab quality. Lots grown/produced on site which was a bonus.
We loved the laid-back atmosphere, and the host was charming and helpful. We felt at home and the setting in the farmland was authentic and relaxing. We received great recommendations for both this area and as we continued our trip forward.
From restaurant reservations to hotel recommendations, all was fantastic.
We would come back. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality.
The apartment is nice & well equipped! You’ll find everything you need, even AC in the living room :) The family is very friendly, helpful and hostile. You can ask them everything. I could also rent a bike for the duration of my stay :)
Manduria is also a cute town to stay butI would recommend to travel by car as it is not soo easy to go to the beautiful beaches without them.
We stayed for 5 nights in Manduria and felt like home! House Sud Est is very cozy and clean, we really liked the shared lounge and the interior design. Rooms were spacious and clean. The shared bathroom was very clean and spacious, too. Breakfast was good. The host - Andrea is a very kind and caring man! The location was 👍. We are very satisfied with this place.

Nice and big house close to Manduria. Aircondition worked perfectly in the two big bedrooms. Nice big kitchen and terrazzes. Lovely to be able to wash! Close to supermarket. Manduria is really nice!
Good value for money.
The very service minded and pretty hostess, Maria, present an extremely nice decorated and beautifully designed family hotel (Masseria). The family restaurant in the same properties holds international top class!
A stunning hotel in the beautiful Manduria. We stayed in the colonial room and really enjoyed it. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty.
Amazing location in a historic location. The rooftop restaurant was outstanding, deserving of a Michelin star. The hotel itself was ok, the rooms were nothing special.
I adore this building, this old town. It is an extraordinary place and I will definitely come back and stay there again, in the heart of Manduria :) Grazie mille! :)
