Great location, close by Varenna in a nice and quiet village. David is a great guy, really friendly and thinks with us in solutions. We took our own scooter with us and he maked a place in the parking where it could stand. The apartment is everything you need, we had a great time!

Very cozy apartment on the top floor of the private house. Amazing view and a calm neighborhood. The train station is 15 minutes by walk. You can easily reach all the major travel spots on the lake.

The apartment was modern, very clean and finished to a high standard. Host was so friendly and helpful, including some wonderful local restaurant recommendations. The garden at the rear was great with views of the mountains and the large balcony at the front gave stunning views of Lake Como. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

What we really liked was very friendly and hospitable hosts and a beautiful view from the balcony. We loved to enjoy fresh morning and evening mountain air while sitting on the balcony. The apartment was quite spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed.

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel...
Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. People we encountered were very welcoming and friendly.

Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

I and my husband enjoy silence with nature, so for us this village with ducks and swans on the lake was perfect. Also we found a very good pizzeria near lake and went there every evening. It was a good time!

Lierna is beautiful.
Lierna is beautiful. There isn't much going on - there are a few excellent places to eat, a bar or two and a beautiful beach affording one of the best views on Lake Como - but it is simply stunning, especially in the spring/early summer sunshine, and a few days here can't fail to relax you!
The b&b was well located in the small town Lierna which has all the necessities - pharmacy, store & small pizza place. There is also a lovely restaurant Sottovento with views of the lake. Varenna is an easy 20 minute train from Lierna & Bellagio is 20 mins by ferry. Laura made us a lovely breakfast each morning with prosciutto, juice, pastries & scrambled eggs. The room was lovely, well decorated with its own private entrance & lots of separate tables set up to sit outside in the beautiful garden. Couldn’t recommend more!
Villa Laura is truly a magical place. If you really care about small details and a cozy warm environment - then this is a place for you! It is owned by the most caring and loving family and they truly go all the way to make you feel most welcomed and comfortable during your stay. Breakfast is excellent with great Cappuccino and fresh fruits every morning. Lierna overall is a really cute small village and Villa Laura is very close to lake Como. Definitely looking forward to visiting this fairy tale of a place again :)
A very lovely one bedroom flat in a beautiful old bit of Lierna. Ivana, the owner, was very friendly and nice. She gave us a lift up from the railway station (via the supermarket) and took us back when we left. The apartment is very comfortable, perhaps a little cluttered, but in a homely way. Lierna is a great place to stay: cheaper and quieter than some of the very touristy places around, but well connected by train and ferry. It’s a very friendly place with good access to the lake and a very pretty beach.
We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 older teenagers) for a week. The location is beautiful: a quiet part of the lake with direct access to the water from the jetty. It’s a short walk along the road (which didn’t bother us noise wise) to Lierna which is a small town. We hire a boat from here. 10 minute drive south to a good supermarket and 10 minute drive north to beautiful town of Varenna and ferry to Bellagio.
This property is an absolute gem! Beautiful views and close to many wonderful places to eat and swim. Very clean, enough space. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the small balcony overlooking the town and lake. Lierna area felt less touristy and more scenic than other areas we visited around the lake. Very close to the train station and our check-in procedure was very easy with clear instructions from the host:
The property is located 300 feet above Lake Como in the charming town of Lierna. The balcony apartment was immaculately clean and well kept by Debra who owns the home and two rental apartments with her family. Our host was friendly and very helpful in guiding us concerning places to visit and dine. Views of the lake are stunning and we were made to feel at home.
We could not have found a better place to stay on Lake Como! The location is next to a lovely, but quiet, beach and the apartment looks over the water. The kitchen is equipped for actually preparing dinner, which we did. The Lierna train station is a 10 minute walk, so it is easy to get to Varenna or Lecco. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was in the lovely town of Lierna which was well located for trains and ferries to see the sites of Lake Como but was also not too busy or touristy. The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable and good value for money. Plus it has aircon and free parking! It is also within walking distance of a stunning beach which has a little kiosk.
The house was very convenient and practical for a family of 4 or even 5. The Como Lake view is spectacular and it is so nice sitting there on the terrace while having breakfast, dinner or with a glass of wine. Lierna is a beautiful small town very well located for tourists visiting Lake Como towns.
The location is definitely it's strongpoint. The appartement is on the first floor with a magnificent view. You have access to the private garden right at the lakeside! The parking space included (at 100m?) comes in very handy, because there is definitely parking shortage in this town Lierna.
Location was fantastic! The location is right on the lake in Lierna with a ferry port to Bellagio literally outside the apartment. Max, our host was fantastic! He even had a bottle of Asti as an arrival gift.
Check in and check out was a breeze, with a lock box for the keys.
A wonderful view of Lake Como and ease of getting around. Debora was extremely helpful throughout our visit. Lierna in general has fewer of the enormous crowds you find in some of the larger towns in the region. Access to Milan by car or rail is very easy.
The garden is very green with plenty of beautiful bushes, plants. Located within the walking distance to Lierna city center and hence the ferry point to Bellagio.
The owner accommodated our late arrival well after the official check in time.
