We really enjoyed our time in Sardinia. The resort was good, but not great. I initially thought I had chosen the breakfast-only option, but upon arrival, I discovered that I had selected the full board. I wouldn’t choose that option again; while the food was okay, it didn’t provide the authentic Italian experience I was hoping for. During our nine-night stay, we had lunch and dinner at the resort a few times, but we also explored local restaurants in Isola Rossa and nearby pizzerias in the mountains which were all amazing!
Although we enjoyed our holiday, I found Isola Rossa to be somewhat isolated. To take day boat trips to La Maddalena, we had to drive an hour to get there. The terrain is quite hilly with winding roads, so the drive can be tiring. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pools were nice. We appreciated getting out of the resort to visit the local beach and town. A car is definitely needed if you want to explore beyond the resort. If you prefer to stay put and eat buffet-style food, then this is the place for you!

The location is ok with free parking nearby, and only some minutes walking to the restaurants and shops, some minutes driving to the beaches. The apartment is spacious, and offers almost the minimum necessary for an OK stay. Easy check-in/check-out.
We got the right type of coffee capsules for the coffee machine after we asked the owner, but he did not want to help us with the other problems in the apartment.

Isola Rossa is a charming town with nice restaurants and a lovely small beach. Since it's a bit isolated, making it difficult to reach the other side of the island for exploration, I would recommend staying a few nights before moving on.

An excellent place to stay.
An excellent place to stay.
There are a lot of restaurants and bar/cafeterias, everything in good price and the view is excellent.
There are a lot of places to walk and have fotos by the see.
The beach is sandy and the sea is perfect, especially for families. It is not crowded and very clean.
Also, it is in a good position, in order to have some trips to other beaches/destinations.
I, definitely recommend it, and for sure i will go again.

It was very easy to tell, even slightly before the main season, that Isola Rossa is a town made for tourists. Even though we are tourists who visit Sardinia, we like to be in towns where there is vibrant local culture, and unfortunately, we never got those feelings in Isola Rossa--everything is geared towards tourists and, while we understand that tourism is a vital part of the local economy, it felt like Isola Rossa lacked in spirit and culture, especially compared to many other Sardinian towns we've visited over the years. It's very easy to get around and find everything you might need there. The large public beach does have 2 designated umbrella/chair areas for local hotels, but besides those areas, the beach is open for public use and stretches quite far down. Our favorite area was actually far down away from the promenade, where the sandy beach transforms into a gorgeous pebble beach. There were plenty of restaurants and places to visit downtown along the beach and beside the marina, so it's a great location if you're the type of tourist who wants to eat and drink out a lot. We visited a lovely gelateria, La Rosa dei Venti, several times (it was one of the best parts of our week there--incredible family-run place). The main supermarket is at the beginning of town, so it's more convenient to drive there, but there's also a smaller ISA in town. We were sad to notice a lot of garbage around town (we were there for 7 days, so it wasn't that we happened to come the day before pick-up day or anything)--everything was left on the curb on each collection day and the wild boars (yes, wild boars in the town, picking garbage at night), seagulls, and stray cats had a field day with it all before the collectors came. Surely there's a more environmentally-friendly way the town could ensure that the animals cannot and do not pick the garbage, leaving it littered all over the sidewalks and streets. It was honestly disgusting and sad to see.

Absolutely AWFUL!!!!
Absolutely AWFUL!!!!
In the day when we arrived, we didn't receive the room which we paid
for a Suite with Sea view about 30 sqare metersthen a very small studio
situated in the top of the complex. Even thgough, the reception
personnel tried to convinced us than we haven't right ad it isn't
possible to chainge it.
For the first three days no any cleaning services were proccessed in
the room ( cleaning, changing the towels and bad sheets) even we
claimed several times.
Finally, in the fourth days, the hotel management acceoted to change
our room and do the cleanup, but after a day we noticed that in this
new room, the air conditionary didn't work at all and the temperature
in the room was extraimly high.
We claimed again to the hotel management, another vacation day was
distroyed due we packed again the luggages and move them in the third
room.

A good place to holiday with family. There is a good beach. It's possible to eat not expensive in a few restaurants. Generally, it's a place to rest in silence in June. I don't know how is in July and August.

Wonderful, quiet, perfect vacation location for those looking for beautiful surroundings, great beaches, truly relaxing.
Not a lot of partiers, great hang-out spots to just grab a drink. Wonderful little night market with vendors. Restaurants are good & friendly. The locals are friendly. Some spectacular ice cream shops.
It's almost perfectly in the middle of St. Teresa & Stintino. Each of those are easy day trips. Yet Isola Rossa is so much less crowded!

Heaven on earth! We arrived to the Olbia Airport, which is a 1.5 hour drive to the house. To say that the house is well-located is to say nothing at all. The house is basically on the beach, we stayed there for a month and it was the most incredible vacation. Sea-breeze, sunsets, in the little town nearby you can find a supermarket and a pescheria. We never ate in the restaurants and spent the majority of the time on the terrace of the house. Will absolutely come back!
Lovely house with great view! It’s very cozy and clean. The owner is a very hospitable person, he gave us a lot of useful detailed recommendations about Sardinia. Not far from the villa (15-minute drive) - an excellent long beach. Those who want privacy - it’s nice choice! So I highly recommend this apartment! We hope come back one day to this wonderful place!:)
This is a beautiful hotel, in the most perfect location, the best host I have ever met. My mum fell ill while on holiday and the owner went out of his way completely to help me. Even talking to the hospital at 3am and letting me know what's happening. I cannot reccommend this hotel enough! And I can't wait to return.
1. The overall setting, location, sea, nature.
2. Services were almost impecable. First time in a few years I felt people were genuinely smiling when working (reception, waiters, bartenders, people on the beach).
3. Coffee was good at breakfast, which is not always the case even in 5* hotels.
