The view is gorgeous, and the location is quiet - just outside the city. So everything you need like a supermarket is right around the corner. The host is also very helpful. The terras was the perfect place to dine and enjoy the beautiful mountains around you. It was a very practical location from which to visit Gran Paradiso. Would love to come back again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the Aosta Valley!
The Vagneur is set at 1740 metres above sea level in Vens, 8 km from Saint Nicolas. It offers panoramic views, and a restaurant serving Aosta Valley specialities.

Very nice hard working hosts, parking, location very good and good restaurant. The castle further up the hill is very nice with great views. If you want to eat at the restaurant, make sure you book in as its very busy and popular with the locals, we did and the food and local vino were excellent, hence why its busy was also very reasonable. Breakfast was equally good, plenty of choice. Will definitely be back....

Best breakfast ever. Lot’s of homemade jams cookies etc.Staff great. We asked to store a couple of bags and the staff were very accommodating. Afternoon self check-in was seamless. Notable interior hand carved joinery. Comfotable beds. Central and easy to find. Great take off point for hiking. Good parking. Great value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again
Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning...
Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning of the Reims Valley.
It is conveniently located between Aosta, with its Roman ruins, and Courmayeur with access to Mt. Blanc and the Vallee Blanche.
The Castle is definitely worth a visit for examples of medieval architecture typical of the Aosta Valley.
We also enjoyed a visit to the Parc Animalier, an animal park featuring local fauna and flora, and conveniently located next door to the apartment.
Introd used to be the favorite mountain retreat of Pope John Paul II, and it is possible to visit where he stayed.
Great location, surrounded by fields, with lovely Mountain View’s. Introd is an interesting village and a great base. The owner is very helpful and offered us use of the garage for our bicycles. The balcony is a nice place to sit out. Comfortable beds.
