This was a really cool place. We stayed in a little wooden cabin right beside the trout farm, so we had the sound of rushing waters outside our room. It was a cute hut, with a bathroom right outside. There was also a restaurant but we arrived late and thought it would be closed by the time we arrived, but it was still operating. We enjoyed a drink and dessert at the bar though and were even treated to free homemade blueberry grappa by the owner :-)
The breakfast the next morning was simple but very good quality. We have eaten at many bnb's on this trip and they offer a lot of buffet breakfasts, but it's often cheap food. These guys however provided quality over quantity which I appreciated a lot more.
Although the owners don't speak english we could communicate and I thought they were lovely. I highly rate Agriturismo's over normal bed and breakfast establishments. The location is always so much nicer and it's so much quieter. I have also enjoyed the fresh food available.
Hotel Bazzoni is in Tremezzo centre and offers a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Como and an outdoor pool. The port for ferries to Bellagio is 1 km away.

Located in Varenna and only 3 minutes on foot from Lake Como, Hotel Montecodeno is very close to a ferry boat stop. It offers free WiFi and rooms with views of the garden and mountains.

Everything was amazing. One of the best hotels I’ve been in. The location was amazing too! We went during spring time but the room was very well heated.

The train system to get to Veranna was efficient and clean. The view from the room was delightful across the lake. Also the views to the villages from the boats are superb.

Driving is a bit of a challenge, as roads are very narrow... Relatively speaking, it's also not too expensive!

Good location not far from city center of Menaggio, 20 minutes from Villa del Balbianello. It has a restaurant for dinner but there are plenty of good one nearby hotel , good basic breakfast, very welcoming staff/owner. Nice swimming pool for kids with mountain background with plenty parking space. You can take ferry w/o car from Cadenabbia to Bellagio, just leave the car in nearby parking area (paid parking) and you have more relaxing walk. Room was big enough for 4 of us and clean.
Merloni Hotel was the best spot for my visit to Lake Como and the area. It give you the rest from the crowded towns but it the same time is not far - just 5 min drive to Menaggio if you rent a car and 15 min drive to lake Logano. Surrounded from mountains and nestled in the small village, offers area for relax and the swimming pool is great for families. Unfortunately, we had to leave.
The staff was very polite and friendly. We had a relatively late check-in around 2145 which was accommodated with a smile. There is ample parking space and breakfast spread is decent. The hotel is well maintained, clean and does a very good job with BnB if you were there just for it. We found the the beds and pillows particularly comfortable.
Breakfast was great! With bread, yoghurt, coffee, cheese and hams. We could even repeat the coffee!!
The people attending the guess were always great and willing to help.
The restaurant at the hotel serves plenty of local italian food cooked by themselves.
