Our host was kind enough to make us boiled eggs so we would have the energy for our hike along the via di Francesco into Gubbio. He greeted us enthusiastically and made suggestions for our time in Pietra Lunga and for our hike the next day. The property is well cared for and a hidden gem. We highly recommend this property.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in
Stunning view over the valley (this means of course that you have to drive up a mountain road, which is slightly tricky but ok)
Gluten-free and vegan breakfast options
Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely come back again
