Everybody was extremely friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. The train station was a 5 minute walk away so very convenient to travel to Trieste, Milan, Udine or Venice .

The place is located in a very small village in the middle of old houses and vineyards, next to the church. Wonderful house and yard, stunning furnishings. Super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, very clean. Peace and quiet (which we needed after a long, long drive), nice atmosphere, nice family. There are also shops and restaurants a few km away. We had a dog with us, no extra charge. Free parking space in front of the house. We felt like at home - fresh and rested.

We had a very nice overnight stay at Ostarie Vecjo Friul 1901.
The owner, Iacopo, was very welcoming and friendly. The well appointed and clean rooms are in the beautifully restored building at the rear of the Osterie, overlooking the quiet courtyard where there is a secure car park.
Breakfast was very good with delicious local produce and an excellent cappuccino!
We are looking forward to visiting again when the restaurant is open.

Its a really nice small village, where you can experience the Italian lifestyle :) good gelaterias and pizza places are available, but I think its only a 1-2 day stay. We travelled to Udine, Tolmezzo, Triest, Lignano from here: for that, Codroipo is in the perfect spot!

We have family In nearby Sedegliano and have travelled to the surrounding areas. Lots to see. This time it was a shorter trip, just to visit family.
Our cousin wanted us to eat at Speck and Wine (Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, 100, ) but it was closed for holidays. He said they have the genuine Friuli cold cuts and wines. Maybe we'll make it next time.
We had a big family dinner at La Di Mariute (Via Caterina Percoto 7/8 Coderno, Sedegliano). The food was delicious and plentiful (we had about 5 courses!) In a restored building it retains all the charm of the typical stone construction from the area. They have restored another building and rent rooms, too. A third construction is where they hold conferences and give talks on a variety of topics. There are gardens too. It is not a large area but well worth a visit and a meal there.
Customer service was top notch. The receptionists were very helpful. I wanted to have flowers delivered to the hotel for my wife for our anniversary and they called a florist to complete the delivery. The cleaning staff were very friendly. The spa was really nice. The fitness center was very clean. If you did not feel like going somewhere for dinner, their little restaurant inside the hotel had a very good selection of food choices. The whole experience was great. We will be back again!
Hosts was very friendly and gave us a lot information what to see around Codroipo and other cities near by also recomended what to see and where to eat in Venice. Hotel room - was everyday cleaned and smells nice. In the bathroom you can find soap and shower gel. Conditioner in the room works very good. Breakfast was very good, everyday fresh fruits, yoghurt, croissant, juice, various ham, fresh bread toast, hard boiled eggs. We very recomend this hotel!
Nice, big room with a terrace outside. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The room had a fridge and AC. Breakfast was ok: there was fresh bread and fresh fruit available. There is a vending machine by the staircase and two restaurants with a bar next to the hotel.
The best of Friuli.. and that's a lot! When you think of Friuli, you only expect the best... is it the land? Is it the wine? Is it the people.. I got it all. Codroipo has a special place in the heart. Words will never do it justice. Come and experience it for yourself.

Staff was very pleasant. Hotel is small, but rooms are clean. It's little outdated and I'm not sure that it's still 4* deserved, but ok. Breakfast is only sweet with coffee so we didn't take it.
