the bed was surprisingly comfortable and it was an easy walk down to the town centre and lake. The parking was fairly close and although open to the public felt safe

An excellent hotel, located in the most beautiful place there is, an excellent view from the room, walking distance to excellent restaurants that are near the hotel. The hotel is amazingly decorated, the reception staff helped with every issue, a very good breakfast. We had a great time and there is no doubt that we will return again.

We chose this hotel for its premium location in the town and that did not disappoint.

We enjoy walking and staying in Cernobbio was very relaxing and charming. The restaurants were plentiful, with many available outside seating. The lake is beautiful and serene, and we enjoyed a ferry ride around parts of the lake. The wind was troubling on the day of the wedding ie. glasses whisked off their tables, music, and camera blown over)...We stayed 4 nights and would certainly return to Cernobbio in the future!
The C-10 bus at 2:30 and 3:30 pm were over-packed. I would not try this again.

Cernobbio is quite small, in that the centre is very compact (easy to get around!). We travelled to Como (from Bergamo apt via Monza on public transport) and the bus and ferry options make for easy local transport.
Friendly place, NO sense of getting ripped-off as a tourist and good options (for all palates) for cafes, restaurants and bars.
Ideal touring base if you don't need the hustle and bustle of a larger town - and if you do then stay in Como and do Cernobbio for the day. Small = friendly and the locals were very helpful and wanted to serve us well.
Last weekend was the Villa d'Este (and also at Villa Erba) concours of elegance, so if you're a (classic) car nut then it is a 'must-do'!

Would recommend this location if you want a nice small-town atmosphere from with amazing views from where you can visit all other towns on Lake Como.
If travelling off season be aware that ferry times are different. There was a 2-3 hour waiting time to catch a ferry to Bellagio. I found Bellagio nice but 1 day was more than enough to visit and none of the hotels would have had the view as the one from Cernobbio.
Found Villa del Balbianello in Tremezzo was the best from the other couple we visited.

lovely relaxed atmosphere ,own boat station allows easy access to other towns around lake Como,several beautiful villas with grounds to visit,plenty of places to stop for a coffee or something to eat.Try to avoid visiting. on a Sunday as villas and many restaurants close.

Cernobbio is beautiful, quaint and no hustle or bustle. It was easy to take the 'lake boat taxi bus?' to other parts of the lake. Fortunately for us the weather was hot during our stay. There was a rain shower one evening and night but was dry during the day. The food was priced high but that was expected. The food was generally very good. Absolutely recommend restaurant 'Il Gatto Nero' (a George Clooney favourite we were told). Also for the best Pizzas Albergo GIARDINO Ristorante Pizzeria. You wont go wrong there. Both are in Cernobbio. The streets are narrow and full of character. It's a beautiful romantic place.
Perfect location: quiet, nice, multiple restaurants, ferries go every 10-15 minutes. Very close to Como (city). Comparing to Moltrasio, Chernobbio is larger and more filled with attraction points where to spend time. The embankment close to ferry gate is very nice.
The name of the hotel roughly translates to view of the lake which you clearly have from the front door of the hotel.The lake is SO beautiful and it's nice to be able to see it in full View right from the window of your room. every member of the staff was super nice and helpful when we had any questions about nearby sites and services. the rooms are pretty small but quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast is included and pretty good

We had a great stay Rostylava was a very wellcoming host always with smile on her face.
The narrow wavy roads leading you to the apartment is not that bothering if you look at the comments just drive slow . The view is great going up the hilll to the location , which is a 15 minute drive to the center Como. The house is right infront a very green hill with lots of singing birds. The house was very clean and neat. Thank you to our great host.
Very nice apartment , felt like home , 2 minutes from lake como , self check in perfect , question answered by the owner in minutes needed help with parking , the apartment was ready 2 hrs prior check in! make sure you download the parking app easypark to pay for your parking around the city, apartment clean with extra duvet, even bottles of water and prosecco in the fridge

Superb location approximately 100 yards from the multi-destination ferry pier and 500 yards from bus stops. Beautiful outlook from the larger upstairs bedroom with two balconies looking over Lake Como. Extensive private garden with table and four chairs/ cushions. Choice of descent restaurants and bars within 50-500 yards. Property felt very safe with electrically controlled outer gate.

We walked to the ferry port of Cernobbio and travelled to Como. It was a steep downhill walk and so maybe a taxi is more suitable.
The view from this hotel is something I’ve never experienced before - unbelievable.
Value for money is great relative to other hotels but nonetheless still expensive.
Location was first class right on the edge of Lake Como and close to the docking area for the water buses. We had a room with a side view which was disappointing because our view was mainly made up off a tower crane and an old hotel whose refurbishment looked to be at a stand still !! Room was small but adequate for us as a couple.
This property is amazing! Brand new, so so clean, VERY CLEAN, comfortable beds! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Lake Como this is the place! We are definitely returning back! Anastasia you are an amazing host and you and your husband created an amazing property with so much attention to detail.

hotel Centrale is a very elegant and pleasant place in the nice village of Cernobbio
with plenty of restaurants and Como lake within 300mtrs.
Cernobbio is further for everybody traveling by car between Northern Europe and Italy with a motorway exit just at the Chiasso border.

Wonderful small village on top of the hill overlooking Lake Como. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Easy self check in with key lock box. Free parking space in front of the apartment.
The owner was so helpful and generous. She went out of her way to help us! She cooked a breakfast that we preferred and every day the place was clean, comfortable. I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to stay in Cernobbio.
So many great things about this stay! Great communication by the hosts. Great location in Cernobbio close to shops, restaurants, and cafes but still in a quiet area. Apartment was very clean and comfortably furnished.
The location was perfect. From a small balcony you can see lake Como.
And the owner was very very nice. She greeted us with come small welcome gift and also on the next morning provided some croissants.
What you got for the price was definitely OK: decent size room that was clean and OK italian style breakfast. The location in Cernobbio is great to explore the lake, close to Como.
