Such an amazing hotel! Right on the beach basically with private parking (they were even so nice to put my motorcycle in the back behind a locked gate for extra security). Great access to Cinque Terre area without the massive busyness. It was so good that I ended up staying an additional night. Will definitely be back again when I'm in the area

The hotel itself was located perfectly on the peninsula end of the tombolo, easy to walk around in the city centre and to go to both beaches. The rooms were wonderful, charming stairs brings you around. Great breakfast buffet, restaurant and bar. Everything was perfect!

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and competent people. Michele, Marta and all other staff from reception to the restaurant and cleaners were just fantastic. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious. The lounge on the ground floor is also very nice and relaxing. Cavi di Lavagna also offers some really nice hiking paths offering some stunning views.
I personally recommend to eat at the hotel. The menu changes daily and the food was really nice and much cheaper and better than the surrounding local restaurants (in my opinion).
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely, with aircon and a balcony. The addition of a small fridge in the room was a great help. The pool and pool bar were excellent and as it was on the third floor of the hotel, had a great view to the sea. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, from the receptionist, to the cleaners and the bar/breakfast staff and they made our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast was excellent with a good variety. Excellent cakes. The hotel has a very nice, even if not too big swimming pool, which we didn't use. We liked very much our room with a balcony from which we has a wonderful view. We could see the promontory of Portofino on one side and on the other side the port and the beach of Sestri Levante. We did not used the restaurant.
