the public transport is actually a disaster! it exists but you cannot find the timetables and stations easily and nobody seems to know neither. so who travels without a car, should plan their trip wisely.

I found that Massimo had my mind at ease as I arrived by train, not knowing how I was going to get there and he made it very easy for me to find .He's a great host with the most. There's everything you need right next to the B@B and you can either get a bus from out the front or just take a half hr walk to the centre. The Biodiversity park is two minutes walk away it's open early and closes at midnight..a whole day can be spent in that beautiful place. Anytime I'm in Catanzaro, I would definitely get this room again.

The Hotel was lovely, up on a huge hill. We were in a Junior Suite, that was great. Large bathroom with steam shower, a lot of space. We used the spa tailored and also got a massage which was great. Make an appointment ahead of time or when you get to the front desk. Breakfast included which was also great! Theybhane an elevator but have steps to first floor check in. Parking is tricky but this was October so we are able to park on the street. A short walk ( hills) to town and stores etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Located off the highway near the university on the western outskirts of Catanzaro, this was a great place to either stop at overnight (what we did) or make home base for exploring the countryside around Catanzaro so long as you have a rental car. The room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom good and clean with provided soap and shampoo/bodywash, and the simple breakfast good. The Trattoria U Tammaru immediately next door has a gate which communicates with the San Michele property, and serves a great dinner.

Nice room and a good continental breakfast. I came in the off-season, so Zakia even made eggs for me many mornings. The location is perfect. It's right in the historic center of Catanzaro, which was really charming, and it was just a two-minute walk to a belvedere that offered views of the Ionian and the surrounding hills.

A clean and very nice property. Great place to visit Calabria, very close to Catanzaro so in the centre of the region. plus you avoid all the traffic of the city. Parking no problem. Gabriella, the owner was so kind to give us so much great tips where to go and her pastries for breakfast where divine!!

Francesca is the owner. Her and her son greeted us and welcomed us to the B & B. The room was better than most hotels. It had every modern convenience. The breakfast was terrific. If you are going to Catanzaro or anywhere nearby, I suggest you stay there.

The location near the train station was excellent. It was only a half a block. The hotel met all of our expectations. The staff were great, the breakfast was superior. We will go back to this location during future visits to Rome
