Very small village with very few restaurants. Retrò (the restaurant) is great. The owner is a fantastic guy. There are coffee shops and bnb's in the town, even a place to buy a shirt if you need one. It is not a destination but is a peaceful place to stay while you visit the area which is rich with beaches and restaurants. It is typical Basso Salento and it has the same magic as everywhere but don't expect glitz.

The host Lucca was incredibly kind. Also, the location being in the main piazza makes a great authentic italian small-town experience. A nice place from which you can explore Santa Maria di Leuca. Clean and spatious. Great value for money.
