There is absolutely nothing to do in the whole local area.
There is absolutely nothing to do in the whole local area. Shops and bars (apart from the ubiquitous Salvatore's, a small, simple restaurant with bar and general shop ) are totally non existent. The local area is like a ghost town, a total wilderness. Nightlife (or day life) non existent. Where is anybody/anything ? Fortunately Lecce is only 20 minutes away by car.

Casalabate is a quiet location at Adriatic sea. Quite difficult to get there because you can only go with car - there are no local buses.
There are only a few stores and a little market for vegetables. During the season the locals organise dancing evening for elders.
There are only a few beach bars but you can enjoy the sun near the sea on your own chair.
Staff was lovely, accomodating with all our questions, requests. The hotel is not luxurious, but you wouldn't expect that for the price. It was clean and provided a good value for money. Overall satisfied with the facilities. In terms of location, it is very quiet, peaceful and we liked that, but if you wanted to get to the closest town, you definitely need a car. If you just want to relax and stay on the beach/by the pool, this place could be for you. Thank you!
Beware the appartment is not located Via del Granchio in Casalabate as mentionned on Booking but Via del Granchio in Lendinuso, 3km away from Casalabate.

We loved the peaceful garden, the terrasse, the quiet beach at walking distance, the small and safe city with friendly people.
Alessio is the most devoted and friendly host you have ever met. So kind, helpful, always available for any questions.
The apartment is located next to the beach and the boulevard of Casalabate. There are restaurants, cafe's, ice cream shops and a supermarket in the area. Big plus of the appartement are the free bikes, so you can easily move in the area. Another handy facility are the outdoor showers to dust of that beach sand.
The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Good atmosphere (i.e. poolside entertainment). We were allowed to check in early and were told we could enjoy the pool & the hotel’s private area of the beach after check out. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Air con and wifi great.

If you are looking for someting affordable, not luxury, this is good place for you.

Casalabate is a funny place and I would not go there for holiday. But this hotel has a private beach, separated only by the street. The pool is big and deep

Very nice owner, super clean. The coasline is very close and sandy beach 15 minutes walk. Recomended, although the city Casalabate is not very interesting.
