The city had plenty of interesting sites to visit, in particular ancient and medieval sites, the types of places I was there to see. However, I had a difficult time finding a restaurant to dine in. I was near the center of the city and, with one exception, all I could find for dining were cafes that provided nothing but sandwiches, if that. Very strange for a city of that size.

A small hotel outside of town in a wonderful garden full of palm trees. Friendly staff that allows travellers to park their car on the driveway within closed gates. Air conditioned rooms. The nearby town of Canosa is has a wonderful central square with hundreds of people on it at night. Good breakfast!
The Hotel is very modern ,and fitted out to very high standard. The room we were in had LED lights that could be adjusted to any lighting mood.The bathroom was superb with a wet room style shower.
Perfect location when driving from Umbria to Puglia. Such a surprise - elegant hotel right off the highway. Every detail was so Chic!! Gorgeous Spa too.
