This hotel is wonderful and in such a beautiful location!! The rooms are beautiful & very clean and staff really look after you. We had dinner and breakfast & it was very good. They also have a lovely bar which also offers delicious snacks and light meals. It was hard to beat sitting by the lake on a nice day having a drink - Bliss!! I didn’t want leave!

There are only 8-9 rooms, so it really felt like a boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful, very luxurious but still cosy and the bed was a dream! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Very nice accommodation with a great, well-kept garden with wonderful plants and trees. The house with the apartments has an ideal location, you are within a few steps directly at the lake. The hostess gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is very clean & nicely furnished. Everything was great, we would love to come back!

My partner and I appreciated the quality of the services and we will certainly come back. Cannero Riviera is a beautiful small city along the shores of Lake Maggiore. The drive along the lake is wonderful. We were just passing through so we didn't spend much time here. Was a great stop over for us.

Cannero is a beautiful, quiet small town on Lago Maggiore. Although it is small, there are several lovely restaurants and bars. There is also a taxi boat to take you across to Luino or up to Cannobio - both of which are beautiful.

Cannero Riviera is a beautiful place to visit and a lovely little town to stroll around in. La Zagara was an excellent place to stay! Our room number 7 was very clean and nicely decorated. Just enough kitchen space to make a meal and the air conditioning was wonderful during an unusually hot period during our stay. The owners are so friendly and very helpful! We would love to stay here again in the future.
Starting with a friendly and efficient welcome from Claudia, we had a fantastic stay in this beautiful town of Cannero Riviera. The studios have a beautiful view of the lake and are spacious, modern and well equipped.
There are many trekking paths nearby offering superb viewpoints over the lake and surrounding landscapes.
The beach and restaurants make it an ideal spot for a romantic getaway and family trips.
The property was in a wonderful location. A boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast. The restaurant was also good at dinner with options for food intolerances. The rooms were large and quiet with fantastic uninterrupted views over Lake Maggiore. Parking was no issue as we could park close to the hotel with a free permit. Cannero Riviera is a lovely hidden gem.

Parking is really comfortable as the place has a parking lot on the basement. Cannero Riviera is a small town and this accommodation is exactly in the middle so you can easily reach everything by foot in a few minutes.
Lovely renovated hotel with amazing views. Rooms were big and the bed was comfy. Lovely view over the lake. Pool was great too and there was always a sun bed. Food was also great. The area is also perfect. You can go for a nice walk along the lake and there are also other great restaurants near by. Would also recommend the wine tasting.
Really good located at the center of Cannero. We had the room at the second floor of the apartment with stunning view on the lake. Bathroom was located on the hallway (where no guests will come) and fully at own dispense. The host was really nice and friendly. Typical Italian breakfast was also enjoyable.
feels like beeing in a dream. this is a great hotel in fantastic location. family business, the old signiora still greets (some) guests. friendly staff, incredible breakfast buffet, beautifully decorated, freshly redone rooms. all rooms seem nice but especially the lakefront-rooms view is unforgettable.
Italy is not necessarily known for breakfast, differently at Casa Forster. The breakfast had everything you need and was a good start to the day. The view from the appartment of Lagio Maggiore was fantastic. Don't be afraid to ask Paolo for some tips, it made us get to know the area even better.
The location is exceptional. We had a nice corner room overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was nice, the food was good and the breakfast small but solid. Overall a nice boutique hotel, with an exceptional view and friendly staff. Would book again anytime.
The view from our balcony over Lago Maggiore was breathtaking. Early morning sun, and shade in the evening. Classic older home with a lot of Italian flair. Short walk to the beach, which is one of the nicest swimming locations on the Lago Maggiore.

The stunning scenery from the modern apartment. Modern decor and very quiet apart from the evenings when there is live music from one of the restaurants in the village. Doesn't go on too late thankfully.
