The hotel is located 10 mins away from the airport and it's a very good option for a last day in Venice, which was my case. There are 2 bus stops within 3 mins walk and from there you have direct transport to the airport, Venice and the train station. Staff were friendly and allowed us to check in one hour earlier. Also, they provided me with iron and ironing board. Not only that, but they practically saved me 10 euro by explaining me that I can enter Venice for free by being their guest. I wasn't aware of that rule.

I asked for twin beds expecting the room to be comparable to a double room. Same price. ! Expensive! It looked like a junky college dorm room. One flat pillow and no blanket. The hotel was said to be non smoking but smoke was waffling thru our room at 6;00 am this morning .

Location to airport. And staff was excellent. The property was extremely clean. And staff even helped secure bus tickets for our 4:30am departure since taxi didn’t run that early. Bus stop is nearby going to airport. An easy walk. For European standards - very large room with small refrigerator. AC in each room. Shower was excellent with fantastic water pressure.

Very clean and cozy and comfortable stay plus the most amazing staff ever! Beyond helpful and friendly and welcoming to us and went above and beyond with making sure we knew where to go and how to get to the guest house. We were met at the bus stop and driven the rest of the way because my mother was not able to walk so much, which was the most heartwarming experience and totally made us feel like valued guests!

The hotel was good ,
The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present
I recently stayed at a lovely hotel near Venice and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is charming and cozy, run by a very kind and helpful owner who made my stay truly enjoyable. He was always available to assist with anything I needed and had answers to all of my questions. My room was exactly as pictured – clean, modern, and equipped with air conditioning, which was perfect for the warm weather. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others."
Very friendly staff. The woman who met us explained everything we wanted to know. For example, how to get to Venice and back. They issue brochures with a map and bus schedule to Venice and the airport, which turned out to be very useful!
Delicious breakfasts included in the price were a pleasant addition. The room was cleaned.
Cozy room, with a small refrigerator, kettle, cups and tea, with a private sink, with a TV.
Thank you! I really liked the hotel!!! 😍
The Owner, Michela is amazing person. Sunny and positive from our arrival till our departure. Personal attention to every quest to make You feel like home. Respect and admirations. Great breakfast. Rooms fully equipped. Thanks. Perfect location for sightseeing Venice. Bus stop in front of the Hotel. 10 minutes away from Piazzale Roma.
Nice place with a free parking. Perfect to stay 2-3 nights if you are about to discover Venice and places around Venice. Across the street there is a little shop and pizzeria and next to hotel little bar.
