Great location - in the heart of the city center and just a 15 min walk from the railway station. Lots of lovely restaurants near by. Friendly staff. Our room was clean and the breakfast was included, so we had everything we needed for our short stay there.
Newly renovated with modern designs and trendy character, Savhotel is 500 metres from the Fiera di Bologna exhibition centre.

This is an excellent four star hotel. The room was comfortably furnished in a up to date style, with well-planned lighting, very nice bed linen and towels, two reading chairs and a desk chair, coffee maker and tea kettle. Staff were friendly and obliging. We had a drink at the bar and had dinner at the restaurant. We enjoyed the setting, the service and the meal. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with everything you could want. The staff made coffee to order and brought it to us. The room was dead quiet and we slept well in the comfortable bed. Private parking was available but we didn’t need to use it.
Just a 5-minute drive from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, Hotel Bologna Airport is also 500 metres from the Bologna Borgo Panigale exit of the A14 motorway.

It's a rather remote, quiet town. Nothing to draw one to except quiet and near the Bologna airport.
I ended up choosing to heat up a packaged curry/rice meal from the supermarket, as the only other choice (since I didm't have a car) was a pizzeria.

Bologna is a very busy town with narrow streets. I strongly do not recommend going into the historic centre by a car. Use the underground garages on the outskirts of the historic centre - e.g. on Via Riva di Reno and then walk

As the airport is close to hotel, transfer service could be provided. Noise isolation is totally poor. Other guests are constantly migrating (at night too, obviously), so it is not quiet for having some rest. Hotel hosts should allocate rooms more rationally.
We have booked and paid for breakfast, unfortunately we did not get it at the check out morning, because we had to leave before 7am. (Receptionist said, that it is too early regarding to their rules). Even though the restaurant was already open! It could have taken several minutes to make a sandwitch or a bun with a cup of tea or coffee!

It is clean but do no t trust it when they call a cab for you.
Make sure it is a proper taxi. The ride to the airport was about 5 minutes and the man charged me 15 euros. That was wrong. Make sure you do not accept a vehicle without the taxi logo.
The front desk staff was not welcoming

Lovely old 16th C house in very peaceful, rustic surroundings well removed from the turmoil and traffic nightmare of Bologna but very close both to the city and to the airport. very charming hosts who look after one extremely well, not to mention huge and very comfortably appointed rooms that are light and airy. The proprietors’ dog also adds considerably to the pleasure of one’s stay. Altogether a delightful experience and highly recommended.
The breakfast was good, tailored to satisfy many tastes.
The location was very quiet, in the open countryside but only 1 km from a major road. It was wise to work out the route to the locanda in advance, given the convoluted road system around Bologna.
The restaurant was a delight. The menu offered a good range of dishes, with pasta made in-house, a rare luxury.
It was a great location for us near the airport — and comfortable and a good breakfast and the room was very nice. There is a lot of care and enthusiasm by the hotelier. It is small but very quiet and they were gracious and accommodating when we had to leave early. the history behind the ownership (a founding engineer at Lamborghini—-wow ) — that was fascinating.
Very comfortable and cozy apartment - nothing to complain about. The apartment was well furnished, it even had a washing machine we could use. Parking was free although not directly next to the building. The location is nice for what it is - a small village close to Bologna.
Very convenient for an overnight stay when flying from Bologna the next morning. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind. Note that many IH hotels don’t have staff- just a kiosk. This one has a 24x7 staff. Parking was very easy and free.
Proximity to the airport, very friendly staff and welcoming. They did their best to accomodate us by letting us check in late when our plane landed in a different city due to bad weather in Bologna.
