Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts.
For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear.

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.
Garni Bergblick was one of our best stays on our trip. The rooms were lovely and had a great balcony that overlooked a mountain in the dolomites.
The hosts were amazing. They have to be the kindest people we have encountered. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It would be worth a stay just for that.
The breakfast was excellent, they handmade all of the pastries themselves and they are divine.
This was a great hotel, in a beautiful part of Italy. I cant recommend it enough. Stay here if you get a chance.
Not only the hotel is situated in an excellent position, with a great view on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo / Drei Zinnen, but it provides excellent rooms. We really liked our room, not just because of the generous size but also the super comfy beds, the big tv screen and the nice interior design.
it was a pleasure to stay here with Anka & Claus. the room was fresh, clean, and tasteful. the breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, yogurts, fruit, and more. the setting among the mountains and close by Lake Braies was perfect. The excellent pizza restaurant nearby delicious!
Great location...90 min walk to Lago di Braies. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast can be enjoyed outdoors with a beautiful backdrop. Can eat a filling dinner at the guesthouse too. Easy parking (extra parking around the back which was not immediately obvious!)
The view from the rooms!! And the view from breakfast and dinner (we paid for half board) which were both excellent. The rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable and have a lovely deck. Amazing location, we stayed for the proximity to Lago Di Braies
A beautiful hotel away from the crowds at Lago di Braies with a walking track to the lake. The meals were amazing and the staff absolutely delightful.
The pool which overlooked the green outdoors was a treat and the basket with towels an added bonus.
It's charming! The old hotel with it's authentical history and interior, great breakfasts and dinners, piano concerts in the hall and outstanding view to the lake and mountains! It's something that I even didn't expected! Masterpiece )
Everything was great, staff is extremely friendly. They helped with late check-in and also cooked breakfast for us, despite we were late for it. And also it's was really close to the main point of our journey - Lago di Braies
The facilities are first rate, clean, functioning, and high quality. This is a family owned and run hotel, with a spa and large restaurant. The food is of excellent quality and the dinner option is great value for money.

The location was great. Only 10 minutes drive to the lake Braies. We had a very modern room with a gorgeous view on the mountain and the facilities in the room were very comfortable.
Very nice staff! Great place to stay for 1 or 2 nights, there is a forest road right by the hotel, its 40 minutes to Lago di Braies on foot. No problem with parking, great breakfast.
