The hotel itself is a fine version of a modern, standardized hotel. What sets it apart is first of all the extraordinarily friendly and helpful management, the extreme attention paid to every detail of user-friendliness and cleaning, and its excellent position near the shoreline in Bordighera. There are a few gracious touches, but this not an olde-worlde charming hotel. I appreciate such places, but I would likely never look elsewhere in Bordighera. One bit of advice—the hotel has its own small parking area, for which there is a charge. I advise that you reserve the parking when you reserve the room.

Breakfast was exceptional. The breakfast/dining room was so quaint and they had the absolute best croissants hot out of the oven, fresh squeezed orange juice and great cappuccino. What more could you ask for?

Bordighera is nice but very difficult to find parking.
Bordighera is nice but very difficult to find parking. We were 15 minute walk from our hotel. Good public transport for surrounding areas. The hotel had private beach but difficult to go in the sea If you are not a good swimmer because of all the stones. The old town is quite nice but we found the restaurant miriage bit over rated. GRande Hotel de Mare , restaurant was good. The Amarea restaurant was ok

Bordighera is a beautiful town, both the old part and the new. It has an interesting history and it’s worth going to the Clarence Bicknell museum.
Try a farinata at one of the restaurants or take aways - a tasty vegan savoury dish which is found in Liguria, Nice and Sardinia.

A delightful boardwalk.
A delightful boardwalk. Reminds me of a smaller version of "Venice Beach" CA. Plenty of sights, sounds. Plenty of beach areas, and cafe's. Really a great place to stroll and breathe it all in. Was the best part of my trip to Italy.

Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter.
Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter. The beaches are pebble and shingle but varied and plentiful. I would recommend La Reserve where you can swim of the rocks and eat sea food in the restaurant. Access to the hilltop villages is easy and well worth a detour or two. The Conad superstore is fabulous with a huge selection of fresh produce, meat and Italian delicacies. A good place to stay en route to Italy or France.

Many visitors to this part of the world head off to the French cote d'Azur but this part of the Italian Riviera is also worth a visit. Bordighera is a beautiful town with lovely beaches a well preserved old town and gardens overlooking the sea. It also has superb restaurants cafes and shops. Also worth a visit is the next town along the coast, Ospedaletti which is as nice and has a great seafront and old town.

Bordighera is a small provincial Italian town with its local sharm with a very good location for one-day trips, as we like: so we visited Menton, Nice and San Remo. But the best of all is fantastic sea: warm and clear, so that we could swim as long, as we like and get a lot of pleasure. Very interesting is an ancient part of the town with narrow streets typical for old Italy and plenty of taverns and restaurants where you can taste local food and vine.
Nice modern interior, which is quite rare in Italy (despite this country is famous for Italian design). Very nice and big terras outside with view on the very green and lush garden. Nice bathroom with good shower. Host Federico and his mother are very kind, approachable and helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very practical to have your own parking garage. Location at walking distance near to center of Bordighera.
Lovely room / mini apartment situated in Bordighera Alta. It is a truly unique spot in such a cozy little town. Wonderful and welcoming host! Please note that it is a steep walk up to Bordighera Alta from the city centre. :) However, it is perfect to stay there as there are so many cozy restaurants and vibrant atmosphere in the area at night. I would love to come back and I really fell in love with the city Bordighera.
Location was perfect! The apartment was about 1 km from the train station. Close enough to walk to the station, market and beach, but far enough away to not be in the middle of noise and traffic. Andrea met us to hand over the keys and give us great advice to make our stay in Bordighera great! He even helped us out when we forgot to buy salt to cook our pasta! The apartment had everything we needed.
Everything about this place is perfect! Our hostess Daniela is the best, she made us feel at home. The place is impeccable and comfortable; breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. The location could not be better, super close to the train station, old town, beach and in a quiet street.
A nice place to stay. The room and bathroom are very clean, the terrace is wonderful. Irene and her colleague Cori were delightful hosts. The accommodation is equipped with a fridge and everything needed for tea/coffee. Plenty of space for a couple and two dogs with their beds. Recommended
Close to the coast, easy access to “centro storico” and the rest of the town of Bordighera, which is very nice, many good restaurants and places for leisure & pleasure. The apartment has a nice terrace and a convenient parking. Breakfast was fine done with lots of attention. Thank you!
Perfect location in Bordighera Alta, steps away from the old city center where you find 14 restaurants, bars and cafes.
Beautifully appointed and stylish apartment with a breathtaking view both day and night! The beach is about a 10 min walk downhill (and uphill on the way back!)
Lovely host, everything perfectly organized with remote access and own parking spot. The traintracks nearby did not bother at all, windows are soundproof, room is clean and spacious, even a minibar was filled with free drinks. Everything is within walking distance. Lovely town :-)
Very polite service and clean spacious room. Excellent location by the train station, town, beach and the mountain to explore. Refreshing to stay in a personal and unique place with a real italian family feel, yet in complete privacy, just like in a hotel.
Everything! The only point where there could be some progress in keeping the spa in perfect shape: the hammam needs some essential oils and needs to be kept hot and clean (there was a moldy smell) - Other than that, I loved my stay there.

The flat was clean. There were extras in the cupboards like salt and pepper. There were fresh towels and the bathroom was lovely. The flat was situated near Bordighera train station and next to the promenade, sea, shops and restaurant.
The location is very good, easy to get to, easy to move around from and "on the beach". We had a room with sea view; could not be better. The room had a good size and was very clean.
Localization of hotel is great in quiet part of the town.
The breakfast is sufficient.
They take care of cleanliness.
The room was small, cosy and adequately equipped.
Our flight was delayed and we reached the hotel way beyond the checkin time. The staff called to check on us and waited for us. Really appreciative of their kindness.
It's probably the best place to stay at if you're ever in Bordighera. It was exceptionally clean and it's set in a perfect location. We'll be back for sure !
