Supertuscans baby-we visited Ornellaia, Guado al Taso, and La Macchiole for tastings-all excellent. We ate at Osteria San Guido and Osteria Guado al Taso-both great dining experiences. We walked around the small town of Bolgheri which was a great location to stay for the visit. 2 days was perfect maybe 3 if you want to visit more vineyards.
The property is a two story condo close to town. There is a parking space and ample room in the 2 bedroom and 1 bath condo. It had a washing machine which was helpful but no dryer so don’t do your clothes in the late afternoon because they won’t. dry. we were lucky that the sun came out for about 3 hours before we had to leave this am. Bed is a queen and comfortable, no AC but we left the windows open. The outdoor space of this condo is very nice and it it is a very short walk into the small quaint town of Bolgheri.
The hosts were very nice - a family who was very friendly and were ready to explain everything for the area, give recommendations for all needed - from beaches, restaurants, even pharmacy! The room was very clean, just enough of what we needed. The surrounding views are great and the closeby village of Bolgheri is worth a visit for an evening and dinner.
The area is truly beautiful, close to Bolgheri, sea and all the wine estates. The patio outside the room was very nice too.
The breakfast was delicious, so much choice, local cheeses, homemade cakes. Yum!
And most importantly; the staff was so nice and helpful!! Would recommend to everyone and hopefully we’ll be back again :-)
It is expensive to book a room in Bolgheri compared to the rest of tuscany.
We were lucky because we had the whole property to ourselves as the other room was vacant

Andrea is an amazing host of this charming B&B, which has the perfect location for you to explore Bolgheri. Comfy beds, delicious breakfast, free parking all surrounded by the bucolic Tuscan countryside. Next time I visit Bolgheri I will definitely be back!
The property was so beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view. The owner was very nice and the location was very close to the town of Bolgheri and all the wineries. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Bolghery is a very special place in Tuscany and staying at the Strada Guilia was an added bonus. This hotel met all our expectations. Everything was perfect and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel is wonderful. They had great service. The breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds and lots of room. There are so many amenities. They are also helpful in getting us a prized wine tasting.
