Hotel Della Torre is a well-maintained, family-run hotel set just out of Stresa town centre and only 150 metres from Lake Maggiore. Enjoy pretty lake views from the gardens.
The Astoria is set on Stresa's lake-side promenade facing the Borromean Islands. It has a nice garden, and offers rooms with Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and panoramic views.

We just returned from our five night stay at the Relais Casali della Cisterna and absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. The room was spacious, the views were gorgeous. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the 14 euro cost was more than reasonable. The rooms were cleaned and equipped with everything that we would have needed. Since it’s a family-run hotel, the hosts absolutely ensure that everything is done to the guests’ liking. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!!
The Casa is very well situated on the lakeside with beautiful shady gardens behind the aging villa buildings. Just down the road (accessible on foot with an aged mother in law) there is a hotel restaurant offering good trattoria standard fare in again a lakeside setting and across the road a trendy cafe which made a perfect breakfast joint.
There was no breakfast or food at the hotel. We received a notification saying there was no food at the hotel after we had made our booking. When we booked there was an offer of dinner for 25Eur but this offer didn't exist - neither did breakfast for 15 Eur. Everything about the hotel was awful except for the location.
The location is beautiful you have to pay for the breakfast but it’s wonderful and parking is free the owners really know what they are doing and are quite gracious and offer a lot of help and advice and that location is beautiful the hotel is beautifully decorated with a great view
Nice hotel with the restaurant having terrace on the lake side with the view and a small swimming place, small promenade with few cafes around and public beach within short walk. Parking next to the hotel door but no cycling routes around.
We were very well received. The situation overlooking the Maggiore lake is exceptional. The breakfast is varied and they are always looking to please us. Also, the hotel is five minutes drive from the boat to Borromeo islands.
