Everything, we loved everything about our stay: the information Sonia gave us beforehand, the warm welcome. The very comfortable room and bathroom, the outside sitting area, the garden and animals, the talks we had. The very good (plentiful) breakfast. Wished we had know about this place sooner so we could have stayed longer.Hope to return!

We stayed in Antica Casa del Carrubo & Spa as we had an upgrade from Le Corti Sarde apartments just up the road and were unable to host our original booking. Bari Sardo is a quiet, small town with a number of restaurants and bars. There are some lovely beaches not far from the town. It is a good location base for travelling around in the area.

Bari Sardo was simply the town nearest to our beachside hotel (Hotel La Torre Bari Sardo). It is a couple of miles inland and had a few shops and markets, but mostly seemed a residential area. Nicer shopping and restaurants were about 15 minutes north at Tortoli, but head out to the nearby beach to find a very nice hotel/restaurant.

If you’re looking for a charming hotel, warm and friendly...
If you’re looking for a charming hotel, warm and friendly staff, stunning location, great Sardinian cuisine and a relaxing time this is for you. Also some more great beaches a short drive away. Wonderful break.
Stylish decor and everything was new and clean - they also clean your rooms each day. Lorenzo and his staff gave an excellent concierge service, finding us all the info we needed, making bookings and finding terrific deals for us. He’s also fluent in German and English. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection. If you want to go to the beach each day, it’s best to have a car, moped or bike. The rooms are ‘bijou’ (not super roomy but stylish - as I’d expect from a boutique hotel) and perfectly comfy.
A very spacious and fully furnished place. The host and his family were super nice and helpful. They even translated some key information into our language. A very nice personal touch. The place is located in the older part of Bari Sardo so the streets are narrow. Good to know if you are driving a bigger car. An amazing beach was less than 10 min drive away. The town is not very touristy so we had all the peace we needed and a flavor of authentic Sardinian life.
Amazing breakfast and great location only a short walk to the beach. Very relaxing atmosphere - the food available at the restaurant was also great. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. We went on a boattrip suggested by the reception, which was incredible - highly recommend! My friend is gluten intolerant and the hotel went out of their way to provide her with good options for both breakfast and dinner.
Awesome vacation! La Torre is very good and clean hotel. The location is just perfect, it is almast on the beach . The hotel has its chairs and umbrellas on the beach , which cost 15 euros a day (2 long chairs and an umbrella). The dinner in the restaurant is also very tasty, i recommend tuna - one of the best i've tasted. There is also a pool but who needs it if you have such crystal clear sea just two steps away.
The Hotel is perfekt! The employees and the owner are the most friendliest people, which we meet in Sardinia! The hotel is close to the beach - 10 min walk and a parking area is also at the beach and in the hotel too. The breakfast is really good and had a large selection of different food. I can only recommend it to everyone!!! We will come back, by the next Sardinia trip!
Very nice independent unit in a refurbished historical estate. The house was very clean, comfortable, and decorated with fine furniture. The kitchen is fully functional. The host is super kind. We had a very nice and relaxing stay. Bari Sardo is very central in Ogliastra and many attractions can be easily reached from there.
Everything was perfect. Well-equipped modern apartment, with a beautiful terrace and view.
Close to shops, restaurants
and lovely beaches. Marco was always very helpful and always responded in milliseconds to any request. If we ever go back to Sardinia then we would not hesitate to stay in the same place. 10/10
Perfect for nearby beaches and close to Bari Sardo and Cardedu - in the country side - parking behind a gate, very sweet and helpful host. Delicious breakfast with home made/local produce. Room modern with a good air conditioning. Comfy beds. Small and cost with only three rooms.
A very nice hotel overall, in a very calm and quiet area! The property is very well maintained and the staff is very nice and friendly. Loved the beach! I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
Bari Sardo is a very nice city. Recommend to all. Located in the center (can walk). Shops and all you need near. To get the sea, you need ride by car 5-7 min, or by bus. Host is extremely nice.
The value for money is exceptional!!! U get a full beautiful dinner included in the rate and the food was delicious. We didn't have a single bad fish the entire time we were in the hotel.
Our room was spacious. The hotel was well located next to a beach, with others a short drive away. The resturant was convenient and provided food that was good and well priced.
