The place is clean, friendly, speak English and will help with everything. From the start, they picked us up from the ferry, made reservations at restaurants we asked for, gave us ideas of what to do. The included breakfast was delicious. We had the quadruple room, it was spacious including 2 bathrooms, larger than expected. One night we ate at a restaurant on the edge of the island and that restaurant arranges a shuttle to and from your hotel, excellent experience. Annacapri is definitely nicer than Capri to stay in, much less stair and nicer people and less crowded. We went to positano, amalfi, Ravello and Naples and the absolute best shopping for us was Annacapri. Our other highlights were the chairlift up, they recommended going early to beat the day trippers and heat of day, it was a 10 minutes walk from our hotel. We also loved our dinner at la Zagata eating under lemon trees and delicious food, again only 10 minutes walk. Highly recommend staying here, entire town and hotel friendly and relaxing vibe.

If you already checked the location, you might already know that:
- The views from La Scala Fenicia are amazing. The final stop,Villa San Michele, is not the only and most interesting spot.
- Mount Solaro is a must
a. the chairlift is the easiest option
b. or just go for a nice hike as it's not challenging. On you way down to Anacapri take in the beautiful scenery from Santa Maria a Cetrella and appreciate the stunning Faraglioni cliffs.
- You can get to Capri via La Scala Fenicia and then taking one of the pedestrian streets - it's a beautiful 35 minute walk, but this is not for everybody. If you don't want to wait for half an hour for the bus, you can go for this option.
- Faro di Punta Carena
Take the bus and go for a dive. There is a nice beach, and I would rather spend my time there swimming/diving, instead of waiting for 2 hours in the line for Blue grotto. The emerald crystal water is full of fish playing around the rocks :)
Last, but not leas. Capri is pretty, but it looks a bit like an outdoor mall. Anacapri on the other hand is way more interesting and has a authentic vibe and most of the stunning views and trails are right here.

Lovely churches and amazing squares where locals gather and children happily play. Great bus service to harbour, beach and down to Capri. Chair lift with view over all of Capri. Unfortunately we fell into the trap of only staying one...
Unfortunately we fell into the trap of only staying one night after seeing all the day trip options Capri had. After our host Giuliano from B&B Paridiso (highly recommend) told us about everything there was to do on the island we were gutted we didn’t stay longer. There is the blue grotto, chair lifts to amazing views, anacapri’s town centre, wonderful restaurants and beaches to visit.
Anacapri is the quieter end of the island, and this villa was perfectly placed as a nice family getaway. The walk to Anacapri is not far (20 minutes), where there is a nice selection of shops, restaurants, and geletto bars. If you dont fancy the walk, the bus stops right outside the property, which can also take to the blue grotto. The pool at the villa was a good size, which our kids enjoyed diving into. The owner Monika and her son Niccolo were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information to make our stay very enjoyable.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Anacapri which is the nice and quiet part of the island. It started with the very well arranged pick-up from the harbour. The 3 person room is very spacious and cooled by aircon and shadow, the breakfast was very nice (with the best coffee!) and the people were very friendly and of great help to us. The views are also amazing and give you the opportunity to watch some amazing sunsets!
The apartment is immaculate, the host was so helpful and provided all the information I needed, even a recommended itinerary for the island & restaurants in both Capri and Anacapri. The apartment feels homely and the location is a short walk to the bus stops and shops. They bring you a smile breakfast basket, with the traditional Italian breakfast bites, a truly fabulous experience and I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
The stuff is very helpful and go out of their way to give the best service. Most of the staff are family/owners, and you can tell they are there to provide the best service. The location was a bit away from town, but the bus stop and taxis are easy to come by. Also, there is an excellent restaurant with a priceless sunset view walking distance from the hotel. Overall, the best nights we had in Italy. 10 out of 10.
The final stop of the Anacapri bus is 3 minutes away from the accomodation. That means that when you are going to Capri or other places on the island, yours is the first stop, and so there is always room on the bus. Everything was brand new and very clean. The room is huge and the bathroom is very nice also. A very lovely italian lady was there to welcome us, although she doesn’t speak a word of english.
Located minutes walking from the heart of Anacapri, Il Vicolo is owned by a couple that takes such a good care of the place. Everything is clean, tidy and organized. They will not measure efforts to help you if you need and will make sure you feel at home. The location, the place, the breakfast, the room, the bathroom, Wi-Fi connection, everything was 10/10. Strongly recommend this place in the Island!
Our stay was amazing! The views are absolutely unbeatable, especially if combined with the amazing breakfast every morning. The location is perfect and it is walking distance from several places to eat and drink in Anacapri. Also, the bus stop is just 2 minutes walking from the place so the whole island is veryyy accessible. I would recommend this place to anybody travelling to Capri
Our stay at Bettola del Re was wonderful. The scenery was to die for. The location - steps away from a bus stop - saved us so much money (taxi's can be very expensive). The breakfast was our favorite in Italy. And the hosts were so kind - they gave us restaurant recommendations that we took to heart and turned out to be some of our favorite meals. We cannot thank them enough!
From the moment we arrived, the owner was so kind and generous offering us coffee or tea and gave great information about what we should do while in Capri. The hotel was just a quick bus ride away to Capri, and was located in a very cute area central in Anacapri. The room was comfortable and very clean. Such great value for the money! We look forward to coming back!
The owner Rita and her husband and her brother were all wonderful. She helped us with getting around the area and gave us plenty of things to see and do. The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the location was convenient. The hotel overall was so beautifully maintained and lovely, I would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Anacapri.
The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the center of Anacapri, which we preferred over Capri. There's a bus stop on Via Caprile 100m away and Francesco was really helpful with recommendations and making our stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Capri/Anacapri and plan to visit again someday.
We had very pleasant and relaxed holidays in the little paradise at Casa Mariantonia in Anacapri. All our wishes were fulfilled and we enjoyed it very much. The service, hotel, garden, rooms, pool, breakfast, food and drinks, all recommendations of the General Manager Marcello and his team everything was excellent.

Best way to arrive is by bus/taxi and walk 1km but you get directions from the host. We suggest renting a scooter to move around.
