Charming old abbaye located above Alba with the wine fields behind. Nice view over town with the alps behind from the park in front of the buildings. Modern, recently renovated room. I did have dinner(set menu) which was well worth the price. Breakfast buffe italian style with unfortetunely only sweet food.

This is wine country. We visited during the off season so it was also hot and many of the cellars were closed but we still managed to fill all our days. There are so many little towns - we loved our location to Alba for the food, shopping, and just walking around. The town of Alba is lovely.

Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

The accommodation is so well looked after, beds are super comfy, the breakfast is traditional Italian, the aperitivo to die for as is their wine. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, booking our restaurants, providing advice and support We felt at home. Highly recommend.
