The location was tranquil being surrounded by vineyards but you need to be aware that you need to drive a car to get around here which is fine but hard to find parking in and around Montepulciano as it is a large walled city which must be explored.
You also have the option of dining in the restaurant downstairs for those who are concerned about returning back after dinner in the dark from Montepulciano on winding roads which can include a local dirt road, which we found a fun experience.
The owner Raffaele has done an amazing job taking over the property during Covid and has created a relaxed place including garden and pool for both adults and children. The location is AAA+, next to the best 'Vino Nobile' vineyards of Boscarelli at a 5 min walk, 10 minutes to the Medieval Tuscan city of Montepulciano and super close to all places of interest, hot springs, the lakes, supermarkets and 1,5 hour from Florence. A train station is nearby, going both to Rome and Florence. A hidden gem in South Tuscany!
What a splendid find in heart of Tuscany! A superb villa surrounded by a lovely garden hosts the property at the ground floor. Inside you will find everything you need for your stay.
The house is an excellent base to visit Montepulciano, Chianciano, Pienza, Castiliogne del Lago and many more, but please refer to the host, Cristina -- her knowledge of the surroundings and her willingness to share them are unparalleled.

Raffaele is a wonderful host, going above and beyond to help with anything he can. His friendly and kind personality is absolutely unmatched. He helped us a lot with tips to make our trip this beautiful. Poggio Olivo is a perfect spot for exploring Tuscany. It is clean and cosy, with everything we needed while we stayed there. The pool was also very clean every day.
We just spent 7 nights at the Villa Grazianella, and it was a delightful experience for my wife and I and her mother. The villa is in a great location for visiting the hill towns of Tuscany, and it was a very comfortable base. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the villa and the view are fantastic. The wine produced on site is excellent also.

Thanks to Raffaele, who's super helpful, exploring Tuscany is a breeze from here. Living in this cozy traditional house is a treat, especially catching the stunning sunrise view!
