Everything. Perfect location for a night on the Via Francigena. Great pizza restaurant downstairs. Friendly staff. I was a twit and left my sticks inside the next morning and the lady came and opened up for me straight away. Very helpful

Situated at the crossroads to different interesting areas - you easily can reach Orvieto, the Bolsena lake area, Bagnoregio, Sorano, Saturnia, Pitigliano, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chiusi etc from here. There are several supermarkets and petrol stations only 5 minutes away in Aquapendente.
The first floor apartment is really huge, very clean, peaceful and well equipped.
The owners are very friendly and love to chat. Unfortunately, they don´t speak English. We bought some fresh vegetables for a good price from them.

Having a ‘little home’ for our rest day after a week walking on the Via Francigena was a treat. We had space, a small kitchen and enjoyed lots of our host’s thoughtful touches. Comfy bed. Generous breakfast provisions and a convenient old city location.

Acquapendente is a gorgeous place to visit. I actually willl be living there as we bought a place...so I am partial, I suppose, but truly it is a fascinating area...the whole area around Acquapendente is extraordinary...the Lake Bolsena...is absolutely beautiful....if you take the drive to Orvieto ( only 25-30 minutes) you will wind up the cliffs above the lake aas you drive and looking down at the lake and the small communities set into the shores of Lake Bolsena...is MAGICAL!
Highly recommend the whole famous Etruscan area.
We were walking the Via Francigena and I can’t recommend this property enough. It is ideal location in Acquapendente 25 meters off the Via. We had a wonderful evening and morning in town before leaving again on the Via. We both commented we would have like to stay longer to enjoy this fantastic apartment as well as Acquapendente. The owner arranged an early dinner for us at a fantastic restaurant because we had to wake up so early to be off again the next day.
The apartments are located with a great view. They are clean and have everything you need. Elise is such a nice host that helped us make the most of our stay.
The center of Acquapendente is a ~15 minute walk (or 3 minute drive away) and the location is great for reaching various sights in the area.
The Casale le Crete site itself is also very nice for just hanging out by the pool or the terrace.
If you're looking for some excellent and quiet, away from the sound of traffic, then this is a nice spot for a bit of quiet. I was given a generous sized room which was perfectly comfortable. The host provides a hearty tasty supper if you go for half-board. The swimming pool was not open when I was there in early May. It's only a miles' walk into Acquapendente which is a sweet little town.
Had a wonderful stay in Casa Girolamo, highly recommend! Francesca was really helpful and the house is lovely and in a perfect location. Acquapendente is a great town to visit with good restaurants and bars and lots of historical places to visit in the vicinity. Thank you
The hotel was really nice and the family (sisters) that ran the place were a delight to work with. I had a really nice room and a great dinner in their restaurant. Wonderful place to stay.
