Catania is only 15-20 minutes drive by car, depending on the traffic. Acitrezza was peacefull and we found the locals very kind, friendly and open hearted people. We dined well at Tratoria da Federico where we had delicious oysters fresh from local waters.
Unfortunatelly there is no posibility to walk alongside the sea more than a few hundred meters.

The location is great for traveling north and south of the town. The view from the terrace is lovely! We arrived at night and it was a special surprise in the morning.
The kitchen is very tiny and we were unable to reheat leftovers due to the lack of a microwave and our inability to use the oven. We were very thankful for the washing machine and clothes dried quickly on the rack on the terrace.

Acitrezza is a very beautiful village and is special due to the famous rocks called Faraglioni. Is a perfect location for visiting the eastern part of Sicily, There are nice restaurants, with good fish, pasta and pizza and of course very good ice-cream. You can have a nice walk on the promenade near the see and walk to Acicastello to see the Norman Castle. There are lots of places to take a bath from the rocks but also some platforms built over the see, with sunbeds and stairs to get into the water. From the harbor you can have boat trips.

This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer. We were surprised by how quiet it was but the weather was glorious, the people very welcoming and it was a lovely relaxing break for us. Not a place for those who need a lot of attractions, unless you have a car and want to drive to different places every day.

Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina. Otherwise other parts of Sicily are better, at least for families.
Lots of garbage in the roadside which sometimes spoils a good scenery, but probably the same all over Sicily.
A group of 11 alpinists. We choose this hotel as our base, to climb Etna, to visit Taormina and the Godfather's villages, to visit Sirakuza and Catania city. And to swim in the sea. The hotel was perfectly located for all this.
The rooms are simple,bathroom and shower big, view is amazing. Staff are always ready to help. Breakfast was good, especially homemeade jams of pistacchio and lemon.
Sometimes you are lucky when chanching upon a hotel run as in the old times, with care and respect and attention after the small things.
Well equipped apartment, recently refurbished, lots of space, we were only two but the apartment can host a family. The terrace with sea view is simply amazing. The host was very nice and welcoming, easy communication, they live next door so they are available for any request. The location is perfect to explore the area, particularly if you have a car. The flat is just a few minutes on foot from Acitrezza, by car you can reach Acicastello in less than 10min, Acireale in 15min, Catania in 20-25min. Highly reccomended!
The property is an easy one block walk from the water. It is recently renovated. The property is bright and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and attentive. A nice breakfast buffet in a room with natural lighting. A parking garage under the hotel that is especially convenient in a town where parking is scarce. We look forward to returning! Oh, it was too cold for us to use on this visit, but our room had a nice private deck with a view of the interior swimming pool which we look forward to using in the future!
The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my late check-in and make sure I had everything I needed. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The spa tub is HUGE and works well, it's so relaxing! Everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Catania.

I've spent 5 nights at Hello B&B, and I had a marvellous time. The whole place is extremely clean, and right in the center of Acitrezza. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and people, and the overall vibe is chilled and happy. Giovanni, the host, is a great guide and is always very keen for a chat or in helping with everything you might need. Will definitely come back here if I ever happen to be in Acitrezza again

The sea view is really there and actually very close to the sea (you can see the Ciclopi). There is a big terrace shared with all the rooms and available to have breakfast.
The host is a very nice guy and makes good cappuccinos.
Recommended stay if you want to visit Catania, Etna or even if you go there for the sea and beaches.
We chose the best accommodation we could find in Sicily.

The location was perfect, very central to all amenities. A short walk to the bus stop for trips into Catania. We definitely hope to be back soon and would 100% choose to to stay here.
Cesare is an exceptional host. Serves breakfast, checks on comfort, keeps room clean, and is readily available for help. He arranged ride back to airport as well. The room was large, had an updated bath, and cleanest place ever. Better room than major hotels. It is near center of small town, easy walking, and great experiences.
If you want to travel around Taormina, Etna, Siracusa or catania the hotel is at best location. Also it is very close to the restaurants, bars and attractions. Breakfast is very good, there are some choices other than croissant. Staff are very nice and helpful. To me everything was just fine.
The apartment is very spacious with everything you need inside. It is at a good distance from Taormina, Etna sud, Siracuzza, Catania. You can reach the seaside in 7 minutes ( riviera dei ciclopi area). The view from the balcony is amazing ( seaside view and Etna mountain).
Newly renovated and clean. the room was spacious as well as the bathroom and the shower. right outside the hotel there is a nice beach for snorkeling. for breakfast they have a wide choice. very good wifi connection!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a great balcony overlooking the pool, which other than having to wear a headcap was fantastic. Access to the sea and the town of Acitrezza was close and easy.
The location of the b&b is perfect to enjoy the Riviera dei Ciclopi and the rooms have an amazing view. The staff is very kind. In the Oasis B&B you fell like at home.
It was a last minute booking for us due to a cancellation from an other hotel in the area. The room and bathroom were big but a little noisy. Breakfast was good.
