This town was a great surprise for us. The old town of Abbadia San Salvatore is awesome!! We were looking for accommodation in the area, very last-minute, and we found this hotel/restaurant. We decided to give it a try and we don't regret it at all. The hotel is run by a nice family and the host was super kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and everything was super clean. :-)
It's hard to describe how beautiful and peaceful this hotel is. Everything is well restored and taken care of. Staff are lovely and so hospitable. The hotel is just beautiful. Highly recommend. We are at the restaurant both nights. The food was delicious and served in such beautiful surroundings. The pool and views from the gardens are exceptional.

We stayed there only one night in double room with bathroom. Simple but comfortable hotel, i was pleasantly surprised. Staff was nice and helpful, room and bathroom were basic, but still nice and very clean, bed was comfortable. The hotel had a clean modern vibe with really tasteful artwork & furnishings. The shower was out of this world and the room super tidy and welcoming. We loved it! Gentleman at the front desk was wonderful and super helpful with suggestions for things to do and see. It was quiet and just lovely!
The staff was very nice and helpful and the location is ideal for exploring southern Tuscany. Apart from the construction that's currently happening under the hotel, it's a nice quiet spot, ideal for relaxing in the nature.

This is the most outstanding hotel we’ve been to. You can feel being in an ancient abbey, and the owner can charge twice as they charge now, and it still will be outstanding. The dinner was amazing too.
