The Location was really close to the sights around Myvatn and next to a lava field. We really liked the breakfast buffet, they even had vegan options. Also it was possible to cook our own dinner at the kitchen of the hostel which was nice.

The restaurant is a must-try! Everything is so fresh and flavorful! ( And the view from the restaurant is very relaxing)
We had both dinner and breakfast there. And they are both amazing.
They also have cows that you can pet/feed.

The host went above and beyond to help guests in the local area! Our car was stuck in a snow drift about 400 m away from the house, and he drove out at 9pm to rescue us and pull us out of the snow. The accommodations themselves were also fantastic. The kitchen was very well-stocked (with basic breakfast ingredients as well as cooking pots/pans), and we made good use of the washer/dryer!

Everything was recently remodeled and looks really great. Lovely little kitchen/common space that had fresh baked muffins and some other snacks available. Easy to get in and easily walkable through town.
The host was also very friendly and helpful and makes sure breakfast items stay stocked
