There is a lot to say about this location. It is exceptionally worth a visit. The hotel is very good, the location excellent. The hotel has a museum which is worth seeing even 2 times, that you can understand everything. The staff is very friendly and provides useful information, especially if you want to get around the area.
Nearby there are several places worth seeing. I recommend Petra, about 1 hour away, especially for people passionate about geology.

expectation and reality but in a positive way. The room looked much better in real life. Waking up in the morning with the sea breeze was incredible. Hosts were quite caring and friendly. They let us check in at the late hour and found time to show the house. It was also nice to be warned about the weather forecast in the morning from the host as it definitely saved our trip. Thank you for hosting us

Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm.
Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.
Excellent Lodging - Beautiful views. I left an iPad at the property and they were able to have it sent and delivered to my hotel in Reykjavik. Peaceful setting.
